Remarks :
My initial interests in designing and creating new things made me apply for this college. There are three levels of examination: 1.) General Ability test (GAT)- which includes questions of general knowledge, easy mathematics, english etc. 2.)Creative Ability Test (CAT)- which is a test for the creative skills of a person. 3.)Situation test- In this test, students are given a situation and some material using which they have to make a 3D model in the given time on the spot.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was very interested in creating new stuff since very start and then my interest grew and i wanted to put my skills into something trending and fruitful so I chose the course of Fashion Designing from NIFT. The faculty members are really skilled and qualified, they teach each and every thing practically which is really helpful for the students. Every semester, mid term assignments and end term assignments are given to the students on basis of which they are evaluated. To end the semester, Jury is conducted instead of exam papers to give students good experience for interviews. The fees fluctuates every year according to the economics.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, I did a summer internship at Amita Gupta Sustainable, Noida, UP. Their are companies that approach college for interns where interviews and tests are done. I personally applied for the same through emails and e-interviews with the name tag of a Niftian. I am currently also doing my graduation project from EGNK Home and Design in Jaipur with a stipend of 15000/mo.
Placement Experience :
The campus placements are offered to students which is centralized and are held at the top 4 metro cities of India including NIFT Delhi, NIFT Mumbai, NIFT Bengaluru, NIFT Chennai. Brands like Myntra, Aditya Birla group, Arvind and much more offer the placements to the students.
Campus Life :
The life at campus is really thrilling and one will never get bored. Students come from different parts of the country and they have their cultural diversity, but NIFT is the best example of Unity in Diversity. Every festival is celebrated with the same enthusiasm. There is also one annual fest named SPECTRUM which have events like fashion show, dance competitions, music competitions, EDM night, Concerts and much more. There are separate hostels for both boys and girls with one common mess which is decent.

I heard that btech is no one here for academics and placements for women so its worth it. There are lots of sports opportunities wherever you want you can achieve like horse riding squash etc. theres aviation as well for the girls to fly and achieve their dreams

Yes, students had gotten placements via college in banking and private companies because after completing graduation i also got an opportunity through college but due to some circumstances, i hadn’t got that chance.

You just have to be a student of last year for applying in internship programs and placements. You have to master any skill and then you can get placement. Many small companies helds campaigns in the university and appoint students for job. The average package is around 20-30 per annum. The highest is around 40 to 50 lakh and lowest is around 10 to 20 lakh per annum. 60% of students gets placement in companies . My plans after getting the degree are to master a skill and then apply for a job in a well known company.

I really don't like placement of jecrc bcoz I don't see mt senior going to a great company out campus they are achieving good but in our campus we don't really get into good company they should have increased the number of companies in our college

Campus recruitment training is provided to all course students and it depends on the student whether they want to opt for it or not. After CRT, different companies come to the campus for their recruitment drive.

There is no campus placement here. Students who passed out from here some are finding jobs, some had their good family business and just wanted to get a degree and some started their own startup. College don't provide you any future security.

As every engineering college we get high placements in circuital branches but for non circuitals senior advice to study a particular language , DSA and all to get placements which is somewhere right because chances of circuital branch jobs are high.
