Courses are very good but you have to choose wisely and the facilities are from the industry . The course is also well structured and the classes are more leaning towards creativity and designing instead fo studying the theories

Course curriculum is good and academics is fun and faculties are also good. My course is fashion Communication and I am in first year first year is foundation programme where students from all departments study same subjects. And we are taught by all departments faculties.

I specifically chose this bcz I wanted to go in textile field and wanted to know how fabric is weaved i wanted to explore and if i say about the entrance exam mine was pretty easy it was not that tough

The course is for 4 years and I chose this course because I wanted to become a fashion designer. My department's faculties are qualified to handle the course and department, max of them are PHDs, their teaching method is very nice and guided, there are 3 term exams, first is a mid term and another end term and final jury, which is an exam cum viva and work assessment, actually they are very tough to make you tired physically and mentally and disturbed honestly. The fee hike every year is around 1-2 lacks, cost to study is very high around 35-40 lacks varies according to campus and year. Schorchip is there and its name is SAARTHAK.

I got into this course because of my interest in both fashion and science which ultimately led me to BFTech. Faculties teaching graduation programs are on a contract basis and have a master's degree with 3 years prior industry experience, and for permanent jobs, faculty must have obtained a Ph.D. degree for the same. Their teaching method is top class as they have industry exposure so they can help students with practical knowledge more. Besides class tests and other mini-projects, there were 2 courses of full-fledged exams conducted within a semester of 6 months and the exams were not at all easy. There is a fee of 10% every year and it is mandatory for every student taking admission. You need to pay for hostel and mess fees along with other miscellaneous expenses including your stationery. Yes NIFT provides scholarships and subsidies to students but I am not aware of the schemes thoroughly.

I was very interested in creating new stuff since very start and then my interest grew and i wanted to put my skills into something trending and fruitful so I chose the course of Fashion Designing from NIFT. The faculty members are really skilled and qualified, they teach each and every thing practically which is really helpful for the students. Every semester, mid term assignments and end term assignments are given to the students on basis of which they are evaluated. To end the semester, Jury is conducted instead of exam papers to give students good experience for interviews. The fees fluctuates every year according to the economics.
