review of IIIT Ranchi
Likes
- I like everything of our college like whether it is infrastructure faculty campus life everything is better everything is good but one thing I don't like his we don't have our permanent campus which is one of the drawback as in our permanent campus we will have full freedom of walking and roaming at the night time then we will have night canteen few of the facilities of permanent campus. If we leave that permanent campus point everything is more better than other colleges because everything is better either it is faculty or it is in terms of in first the way of living in our hostel everything is fine.
- Few days earlier we had problem of food quality of mess but now the quality of the food has achieved its peak and our mess menu and other things has been updated.
- Our hostel facilities one of the best facility in respect to other iits are NIT as I have been to IIT Kharagpur and saw the condition of hostel but the hostel in which we are living is the best as we are given flats instead of hostel so we have privacy and also we have good services for cleaning and bathrooms number of bathrooms geyser and other things
Dislikes
- The one and the major thing which I dislike about our college is be don't have our permanent campus and we have to sit our campus our hostel every year as be don't have our permanent campus
- Sometimes be face electricity cut problem SBI in the corner of Ranchi so there are problems of electricity that but still be have our DG . Then we ask about management to turn on DG and day turn it also but still be face the problem of electricity cut.
- We don't have fee weaving and more scholarship option hair till now what I have seen if I get any scholarship update or find that be have any scholarship in our college then i will omit this point
- In my point of view the weather of Ranchi is good as we have moderate not to warm not to cold but there is frequent rain I like this but maybe others don't like this weather so this maybe the point to be noted and also our compass is in between the popular place so we have basic facilities of good food and roam here and there. Like we are living in khelgaon housing complex with other families living there.
Remarks :
I selected this college because i like research type of study. On my rank which I have cured in this college was best either will not inform of place ment in terms of distance from the house the locality the connection with nature. The main thing is that teachers are too much populated you mean in IIT or in NIT be can't talk to the professor directly we have to go through the official process like mailing and then schedule the meet but here be live with the professors and they guides in every aspect either it is academic or emotional. They even play and have activities with us. We can get this college by scoring a good rank in jee mains no such interview or gd is taken for addmission. Just score good rank and get this college
Course Curriculum Overview :
You will think that what I am writing is wrong how this is possible but actually what I am writing is true as professor of this college are very much Bell successful in the year life they have given a lot of projects. If we have any doubt in any topic we can ask them either in the class or way we go to the cabin and if I still we are not able to solve the doubt then they will give the number and we can talk to them special things that they live in our campus and specially in our building so we can communicate with them at anytime. You up the teachers have also provided financial assistant to the students when there is an emergency they are too much supportive. They don't only Teachers day academic thing but they also tisses how to behave and how to apply for the jobs for better Hike and they also help in our projects the guide as even they find sponsors for our project on. As in my case my professor of computer science is guiding me and right now .And finding sponsor.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't update for any internship as I am in first year but I will do internship in the second year and in the third year because first year the very crucial as we are coming in the college and this is above first we will have to set a hair so I in my prospective I like to focus on my studies when I am stable here then in second and third year I will opt for any of the internship program.
Placement Experience :
This is the best part of our college because after seeing the placement and internship of our college I have opted for this college because when I saw when I was joining this college the maximum package was 85 lakh and the average package was about 16 to 17 lakh for CSE student and 14 to 15 lakh for ECE department. Enter percentage of the student who are placed is more than 90% this is the best part and we all know in current 2024 the recession is going on but still up to March 2024 the highest package on campus is gone to 38 legs which is not bad and we are expecting by the end of this year more of our seniors will be placed as we got this information from our fourth year and third year seniors. Our training and placement officer of power college good and he provide good placement opportunity for as our senior told us.
Campus Life :
Hair campus life is not good because we have to saved our campus all clear like first year we are residing in juti naamkum Ranchi but in 2nd year we will go to khelgaon Ranchi and our classes will be a karenge in BSNL campus Ranchi like in the last year 3rd and 4th year students where studying in HSC now they are living in khelgaon campus with second year boys. Our permanent campus work is going on and expected date of phase 1 completion of our permanent campus is may 2025. It is expected expected that we will get our permanent campus in third year let's hope for the best but still the campus in which we are living is jotic campus it is b for more better than other IIT and nits. Be happy in allotted flats and in each flat there are 8 boys campus is not big like IIT and NIT but it is better. Hostel facilities are like be are living in good cities

College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

Expensive college with mediocre placements
Placement Experience :
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
