Remarks :
It is one of the best Liberal institutes in India, at par to an Ivy league The geography was a small disadvantage for me due to the isolation from civilization and lack of options The process was a submission of a comprehensive SOP and a complete portfolio of academic and extra curricular talents once shortlisted, and interview is held comprising of an aptitude test, on spot essay writing and general one-on-one interview process There is a very good merit + background based scholarship open to avail for every candidate
Course Curriculum Overview :
There is a compulsory exposure to 14 arts disciplines in the 1st semester post which an informed decision can be made on choosing major of choice The curriculum was at par to Ivy League academic material, teaching, and testing pattern. Access to sophisticated academic platforms were given by the university the Faculty were for Ivy league schools and were all PhDs, very experienced with in depth knowledge and approach in imparting knowledge Examinations were in different forms most conducive and suitable for the particular subject and conducted with the inclusive participation of the students on when would be the most optimal time to be tested I received a 50% scholarship on tuition fee and residence based on merit and financial background There was no unreasonable fee hikes during my tenure, and any such decisions were made based on democratic consent of all students and parents. Voting and opinion forums were opened up in such occasions
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't personally as the industry was not relevant for me. But I am aware stipends range between 10 - 15k. As mentioned above companies from consultancy background, Finance background, entertainment, media and technology come in to offer internships
Placement Experience :
Ashoka is tied up with several fortune 500s and various socially responsible startups which are well-backed up Unlike end-of semester placements, opportunities keep pouring in around the year and students are encouraged to take up internships at their convenience, and supported with academic flexibility if need be Ashoka offers an exchange program with Ivy leagues abroad BCG, Mnkinsey, Bain, BBC, News18 etc., are some tie-up names
Campus Life :
The campus is a huge 100 acre space with a futuristic infrastructure and huge open spaces for sports and rejuvenation All classrooms are smart rooms and fully airconditioned Residences are brand new with comfortable space structure and also completely airconditioned There are huge libraries, dormitories, atriums, and study spaces for students to utilize There were over 30 clubs on campus over various disciplines which were well funded There is a University fest which is organized on a big scale annually, and Ashoka also participates in all inter-college competitions

It was related to my interest in medicine formulation, their production and testing which made me chose this University. The professors are highly approachable and are well versed with their subjects. Use of new innovative teaching techniques are used. Strictly follows PCI guidelines, conducting 2 sessional exams followed by final semester exam.

You're eligible for job if you're in your final year and not have any backlog in any subjects of the previous semesters then you can participates in the placement drive cells happens every year , the highest package was about 4 lakh and the average package was 1 lakh 50 thousand and about 60-70 percent students were placed

You have to be in the last semester to receive placemnet offers. There is no explicit eligibility criteria for it though. Some of the recruiters here include Manipal, Appolo, Fortis, Medanta. The highest package that i heard was 8LPA and teh average is around 4-5LPA. About 50-60% stduents acceot the placements. I personally want to be a paramedic at a top notch facility.
