I chose this as a back up, it carries the brand name of Symbiosis and its located in Bangalore which was preferable for me. For the admission process I had to fill form for SET and after clearing the test I had to clear 2 more rounds, 1st was WAT(written ability test) for which I had to write a 1000 word essay in 30 mins on a random topic given by the faculty on spot. 2nd stage was personal interaction, it was like an interview but not really because it was very relaxed and it was like having a normal formal conversation. I prepared for the test through YouTube and some entrance test preparation books, for WAT I just practiced writing essays on various topics and developed the skill and lastly for PI I went through a mock interview process and trained through YouTube videos. The cut-off for SET is not officially posted by the university, they directly contact you if you make it through.
I would like to start with the fees because with an annual tution fee of ?3,75,000 you would expect the best. The faculty is chosen by the central campus in Pune so the standard for teachers is very good but the management lacks far behind, it's only been 3 years since the college started so I would've understood the minor inconveniences but the management is very slow and u co-ordinated. We give 2 exams every semester 1 internal midterm and 1 external endsem. I chose this course because I have always been interested in management be it a fest, project, business or people. Its my first year so as of now I dont have any comments on the fee hike policy.
SCMS-B collabs with various companies and NGOs to provide mandatory and optional internships. The roles offered depends on the specialization the student chosen, the college assigned internships didn't come with any stipend.
SCMS-B offers campus placements after completion of the course. SCMS-B started 3 years ago so the first batch is going to pass out this year after which we will get info on how good or bad the placements are, my seniors had to do an internship and they had the option to find one themselves if not then the college also provided assigned internships. I'm planning to continue my studies after this course.
The campus is not very big but the whole campus is only for the BBA students so it's big enough. The social life is very good, there are people of all types here and you can easily make friends, the college also holds an outbounding experience for each batch so that all students mix well and get to know each other better. There are many clubs such as cultural, business and finance, research, sports and many more. I have chosen to stay in the Hostel and I finally understand the value of good food, the food in their mess is terrible it all tastes and smells the same. ( I mean how can pav bhaji and chole bhature have the same taste).
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
