walchand institute of technology solapur (WIT) located in solapur, Maharashtra, india, is premier enigineering college renowned for its technical education established in 1983,WIT is affiliated with PAH solapur university and approved by the all india council for technical education (AICTE), the institue offers undergraduate and postgraduate in various domains of engineering and technology including Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and telecommunication, Electronics and Computer science etc, WIT boasts state of the art infrastructure and well occupied laboratories, Modern Classrooms and vast library the faculty comprises experienced professionals. all over campus of WIT is excellent. for admission criteria its mandatory to give JEE or MHT-CET examination. WIT holds 51% reservations for Jain Students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because my marks under information technology course cut off. our faculty is highly educated and all re professionals in their job. each term is having 3 in semester exams and 1 end semester exam. difficulty level of exams are moderate. fee for every students is 1,14,000. Scholorships are EBC,OBC,TFWS etc.
Placement Experience :
so many companies are coming in the campus for placements, also with them some startups are also coming. every company is having their own criteria for placement. companies like TCS, infosys, tech Mahindra, Rapportsoft, and some startups
Campus Life :
in Walchand institute of technology solapur so many fests are organized. such as WITchar which is technical event organized in mrach. WITech is also another technical event is organized, STROKES which sports event, ART exhibition and is under cultural fest and ATHARVA is annual gathering. in a year 2 times blood donation camp is organized by NSS. clubs in WIT are NSS,LOL which coding club, start up cell etc. there are two types of hostel 2 seater and 4 seater. for 2 seater fee is 28000,for 4 seater fee is 18000 there are 400+ rooms in hostel. also girl hostel is there food quality of mess is good.

Placement Offers were Good on Records till now Collage has its own Placement Department. The Placement Department is operated by professionals. It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.
The Time I Had Spent in my College

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
Reality of niat

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.
