- Mohan Babu University, established by the Andhra Pradesh State Legislative Assembly as a state-private university, originated from the prestigious Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College. It has its roots in the esteemed history of the Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust (SVET), guided by the distinguished Dr. M Mohan Babu. The university has been ranked in the 150-200 band in the NIRF Rankings and achieved a noteworthy position in the 51-100 band for NIRF Innovation Ranking.
- Many books are available in the library which is one of the best parts of our college. In our college, all the labs are well-equipped with good quality and give less priority to the games. The quality of facilities in our hostel is good and the food served is of good quality.
- The quality of teaching is very good as many experienced professors are there to help students in all aspects. The course is curriculum relevant and it makes students industry-ready with a little self-effort.
Dislikes
- Some faculty are good regarding lab every one says EEE department is good in this college but I heard that faculty does not know anything, but they teach students.
- The college has good placements, but the placements for Civil are not as much as CSE and ECE, But they are better compared to other colleges
Remarks :
I got admission into this college through EAPCET conducted by the A.P. Government. I got a rank of around 24k. I got a seat in CSE(AI&ML). Mohan Babu University itself conducts an exam for students to get a seat in it. It is MBUCET, scholarships will be provided on a merit basis.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am doing a CSE(artificial intelligence and machine learning) course at Mohanbabu University. Why I am chosen it means because it is the most demanding course right now. The faculty who are teaching this course are qualified and are very friendly to ask our doubts. Not all of them but some of the other lectures are average in subject. Coming to exams each semester duration was up to 5 months. After 2 months 1st mid exam will be conducted. And next 2 months after 2 mid will be conducted and then the semester exam. Including Internal lab exams. Those exams are not very difficult. If you perform well in exams then you will get good scores in semester exams.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, but offers you a wide range of paid and unpaid internships in all fields. To get an internship you must be very skillful. In my 3rd I got two internships and they helped me very well to increase my skills and also to survive in the software field. Projects: Developing a web-based inventory management system for small businesses. Tasks may include gathering requirements from stakeholders, designing the database schema, implementing frontend and backend functionalities using technologies like HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and Node.js, and conducting testing to ensure system reliability.

Mohan Babu University is a beautiful campus with Greenery. It has a fine architecture which attracts us more. On campus, the management will encourage students a lot to participate in clubs. There will be a lot of clubs like technical, non-technical, etc... The big fest which has been conducted here is MOHANAMANTRA in November. Mohanbabu University has the finest library with a lot of books. Mohan Babu University includes a central library with an extensive collection of 142,512 volumes, 21,504 titles, and 8,125 journals. The campus spread across 100 acres and a 5-star rated hostel, creates an ideal environment for learning. Mohan Babu University, Tirupati has a boys’ hostel accommodating 100 students each. The hostels are spacious and well-ventilated, with neatly maintained washrooms. The Mohan Babu University campus is fully equipped with the necessary technicalities to ensure a 24-hour power supply and it houses a tuck shop that sells toiletries, and light snacks.

Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Good infrastructure but needs better faculty.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
