- College infrastructure is amazing as all facilities is provided as I have mentioned above.
- Faculty is also well versed in their fields and campus life is amazing as I havve mentioned above.
Dislikes
- Hostel food is not satisfying. Even canteen food is average.
- Workload increases alot as you progress in your semesters. So only those who can manage time efficiently will survive happily.
Remarks :
I opted for this college as it is one of the best colleges in Mysuru among SJCE and NIE. There aren't any GD, interviews, or tests for admission. Admission is done through CET, COMEDK, or Management Quota. The cut-off for CET in AI&ML for my batch was 22k. The good thing about VVCE is that training for placements is taken very seriously and they will do anything to equip the students so that we get 100% placements. All types of extracurricular activities are encouraged. Sports are also given importance to anyone who is an athlete. Incubation chambers are available for anyone aspiring to be an entrepreneur. A hostel facility is also provided. This college is located in a metropolitan area so everything is easily accessible. The only drawback is that canteen food is not the best food you get.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose AI&ML as it is one of the booming sectors in the technology industry. Many faculty members have completed their Ph. D.s, they teach very well, especially lectures in the IT branches. Usually, semester-end examinations are conducted later than other colleges as an internship of around 2 weeks, and training for placements is conducted in the college after every exam. The difficulty level of exams is medium anyone who studies every day can easily score a CGPA above 9.5 and those who study a day before the exam can score above 8 CGPA. Fees are usually hiked around 10k every year. Students who come through management will have to pay a donation of around 6 lakhs donation and normal COMEDK fees every year. NSP and SSP scholarships are available and if financial assistance is needed they should speak with the principal.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for any internships for now but have applied for an internship with Infosys. Infosys offered an internship for the role of a software engineer intern for a stipend of 45k. The project is to work on software development through Linux. Many internships are available as it is provided by the TAP department as it pops up.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility is CGPA of 7 and above for most of the companies. Students should have a well-equipped resume with achievements, and projects, and should have completed at least 3 internships. Interns from companies are favored. In 2023, 760 offers were made and 636 students were placed. Top recruiters are HP, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, IBM, L&T, and many more. The highest package offered in 2023 was 19lpa by Amazon and 17.5lpa by HP. The average package is around 4.8lpa. Around 90% of students were placed. I want to get placed in a company and work for a few years.
Campus Life :
Campus life is like any other Engineering college. Vidyuth is a fest conducted every even semester usually around May. Any textbook is easily available as the library facility is amazing. Projectors are installed in every single class as most of the lecturers use laptops to present ppts. Sports and extracurricular activities are heavily encouraged as VVCE dominates in many sports such as cricket. Many activities are conducted throughout the year such as treasure hunts, quizzes, hackathons, etc. There are around 20 clubs in our college run by students and mentored by faculties. All students are heavily encouraged to join at least one club and they can enroll in many clubs. Hostel food amenities are average vegetarian food is provided throughout the week and non-veg is provided only twice a week. Hostel fees are around 75k every year and there are many PGs available in the locality if anyone wishes to stay in a PG or rent a room.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
