- A very promising college with great people accompanying you.
- Most of the faculty members are nice, approachable and helpful. They listen to students' issues and resolve them.
Dislikes
- Campus life is not good, as there isnt a lot to do in the campus, because its small and the campus planning is obsolete. There would be no fun in the campus if there arent people with you.
- There is no infrastructure in the college than the bare minimum to run a college.
Remarks :
Joined this college for its brand value and the hope it gave for good placements. The average placements stats which were boasted at the time of my admissions for computer science were about 16lpa. To get admissions in this college for B.Tech. degree, one has to appear in jee mains examination, on the basis of the results of jee mains, students are admitted to this college. The cutoff criterias are different for different categories. A bad aspect of the nsut east campus is that is has a very small campus and the locality too isnt good.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is ever evolving, our juniors are studying different syllabus from what we studied in earlier semesters. We chose this course for its so called promise to give us a bright future ahead but the current placement statistics of our senior batch does not justifies that. The faculty of this college are fine, almost every teacher is friendly, helpful and approachable. The teaching method of half of the teachers is fine and not fine for the other half. The students mostly study from the internet. The exams in the nsut east campus are easy to pass, to excel in them , one would have to study a little more , not much though. The fee hikes every year, one must consider that before taking admissions. There are multiple scholarships which students can opt for on the basis of their income.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship stats of this college are great as always. Almost every company which visits the campus for internships came to hire interns. For example, google, amazon, flipkart, salesforces,etc. Even some companies visited the campus only for hiring interns and not full time employees.
Placement Experience :
The placement statistics for our senior batch is not something to boast about. In the year 2023-2024, about 40% of the batch has been placed which is lot less than the previous years. The placement statistics of the other colleges is the same. The highest package received by the '24 batch is about 60lpa. As its been said, the current situations are because recession and the placement stats will getter as the recession recedes with time.
Campus Life :
The campus life at nsut east campus is not so good as the campus is very small. The people are nice though. There is nothing much to expect from the college in terms of infrastructure. It has a small library, a small playground, and a small building. Hostels arent available, they are being constructed and most probably are for girls. Students stay is either PG or flats in either laxmi nagar or geeta colony.

But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college

Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
