I applied for CET and opted for paramedical courses which include many courses like BASLP, BPT, MLT, and BOT BPO, generally, 4-5k people take this exam per year and you get a seat according to your rank. It consists of an offline/online counseling session where you have to freeze the seat by submitting your documents and a demand draft and after that, you can visit the college and proceed further for the admission procedure.
As I had PCMB in my 12th, I was curious about engineering as well and this course has biology and application of physics as well, Biomechanics is one of our Important subjects so this course is a hybrid of medical sciences and engineering, and in our clinical practices, we are often called Prosthetic and Orthotic engineer that's why I chose this course. Coming to the qualification of our faculty all our faculties have at least done master's in their respective courses and most of them have done PhD as well so yes they are well-educated and experienced professors. The exam is done every year and consists of two internals and one external, 2:8 is the marking ratio. This course demands an expensive setup and materials which are being used to make medical devices so the fee structure is justified according to that. Students can also take benefits of Merit cum means financial aid sponsored by the State government and you can get at least 50k from it
We have got separate 6 months for internship only, where we will be posted in several govt. and private setups but we don't get any stipend for it:(, and from 3rd year we were posted in several setups and OPDs for exposture.
As I was enrolled here in the BPO batch, it's our first bachelor's batch so why do I take the risk? Well, the Masters has been there in this college since 2007 and it's very famous for that and they have got decent salary packages so FINGER CROSSED.
Well talking about CAMPUS LIFE, we were already being warned that we were not going to get a fancy DU life here as this is a professional course and this campus is inside a hospital only We don't have cool campus life even though we have uniforms as well and strict dress code as well. The college organizes some extracurricular and sports events 3 or 4 times a year but you get to attend a lot of Conferences, Symposiums, and CRE frequently so the atmosphere here is very Professional. We also have a cafeteria in here which is also decent.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
