The best government college to pursue a course that includes software, Hardware, and Networking knowledge at once. No there was no interview or group discussion round for admission but there is an MCQ test round.
This course was a perfect blend of software, Hardware, and Network knowledge at a very convenient fee. There were two semesters in one year both semesters had 2 sessional exams of 20 marks and practicals did not qualify but helped you to build a better score in your final team exams. There is no fee hike. Fees will remain the same for the duration of the course. You will have to pay fees online and semester-wise. Every year there is a scholarship provided by the government for those students who score 70%+ in both semesters of a year.
At our time college was not indulged in providing internships but our faculties helped us a log to find good and paid internships with their sources. But now the college has been converted To Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University which takes all the charge of providing internships to the students.
You get a good opportunity regarding placement. Multiple companies visit colleges to hire freshers at a very good package. Big players like Wipro and Infosys in the IT sector provide scholarship programs where you can continue your studies (B-tech) from BITS you will work with Wipro as a trainee and they will give a salary. But these programs are only for diploma students.
At my time there were no clubs or hostels on the campus. We individually performed for any of the occasions in college but we have a yearly fest near Diwali on the campus. Can't say anything about it now.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
