Likes
- Campus is of 100 acres and surrounded by trees. Sitting are in ground is nice.
- A lot of places are there for eating out nearby college.
Dislikes
- Club activities could have been much better.
- Fees is more as compared to the output you will be getting.
Remarks :
For me I had given no entrance exam except jee. But jee marks are not taken. You have to either give comedk or kcet exam. Only students who have completed their high school from karnataka are eligible to take kcet exam. I took admission from management quota so I got in directle. They talk nicely to direct admission students probably due to fees. I had to give no test or anything. They just asked for my mark sheet and checked the marks. To be honest they didn't bother much because I am not from Karnataka and I was taking admission through management quota. A lot of my classmates are from management.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Study, you have to do by yourself. Some teachers are very good and some are not. Courses are okayish. The college comes under VTU, but it might shift to autonomous in 2 years so they might increase the fees. Recently they have increased the sections. Teachers are helpful if you go and ask. I don't think there is any scholarship provided by the college itself. You have to apply for external scholarships for fees reduction. If you are planning to take admission take in cse only, if not then only in ise. Rest branches are not worth it even cse sub-braches. Be focused mostly on studies rather than in extracurricular activities.
Internships Opportunities :
Currently no internship is provided from college. Tie ups are there but might be given from 3rd year onwards. You can definitely do off campus internships. Do dsa and web development projects for getting an internship and practice a lot of good dsa questions. Maintain good cgpa- above 7.5.
Placement Experience :
75% attendance is compulsary. In my department they are strict about it. Only relaxed for the internship. Don't let teachers target you. Main good attendance else you won't be allowed to write exams. Highest Package was 12 lpa. Lowest was 1-2lpa. Percentage of students getting placed is not good. Placements are not nice but are getting better.
Campus Life :
College fest is called Samskruti. Mostly happens between March-May. This time it is in May and Jonitha Gandhi will be performing. Last year Benny Dayal. Books and journals are available in the library but are old edition ones. Electricity issues happens but not so much. Classrooms are spacious but batch size might differ. In my class I have almost 70 people. Cricket is the only sport that is promoted mostly, rest are just for name. A small football court and also a basketball court is available. There are clubs but just for name and only 1 or 2 are promoted. Technical activities might happen but mostly for cse people. Technical community called IEEE is present but registration for it is 1000 bucks. Hostel food is not good according to hostalites. One cafe and canteen are present. Hostels are not good so people mostly shift out after the first year to PG. PG can be easily found as a lot of them are surrounding the college. Rent might be lil bit expensive.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

Eligibility for the placements is 7+ cgpa if you have higher cgpa higher the chances of you getting shortlisted for the interview and it will be easy for you Recuriters visited Cisco,Visa,Emerson,NetApp and many more for the internships and full time Highest package is 56 LPA and average package will be around 10 LPA for the computer science and Engineering for other branches it may vary

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
