Likes
- I like peer group that i meet here every one is a talented guys and each one of them hold some capacity in them.
Dislikes
- Some faculties are on contact basis they have less teaching experience. This is the only thing that disappointed me . Collage should only hire some experienced faculties.
Remarks :
I get this collage via jossa counseling. I have other options like new iiits with cse and mediocre iiits with ece branch also i was getting mechanical branch in manit bhopal. But after seeing placement at information technology branch of sgsits i thought it would be good to join this as i was interested in studying computer science and also this collage has decent placements.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Student are eligible for scholarship from central and state government. Exams are conducted timly and course are also completed on time . Exam have a good level most of the time they have questions from gate previous year papers. Some of the scholarship that my friends get are mmvy, post metric obc , post metric st and sc and nss .
Internships Opportunities :
Same companies which visits for placement also offers internship to 3rd year students with industry standard pay scale. Some of the companies that my classmates has secured internship are Deutsch bank, goldman sachs, matercard , LinkedIn (pool campus). Microsoft (off campus)
Placement Experience :
Students with no current back can sit for placement. Amazon, Goldman Sachs, oracle, Deutsch bank, mastercard , optum solution, netcore cloud are some of the big companies that visit every year. Highest packages were offered by amazon for 44lpa and second highest of 35lpa by goldman Sachs. Almost 90% students got placed.
Campus Life :
Fest are organised every year in month of January or December depending upon situations. Library has enormous no of books and online journals. Classroom are well equipped with projectors and mic systems works well in classes. There are many students clubs like pratibimb, ecell sgsits, trivam, kshitij, ojaswa etc. hostels are given for limited no of students and for hostels you have to register during admission other students take room or pg for rent in near area like old palasia, vallabh nagar, malwa mill and pardesipura.

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa
Life at School Of Commerce, Devi Ahilya University
Placement Experience :
The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

There's a good amount of placement opportunities but the only minus point is the Training and placement department is same for the other branches of this college such as Lakshmi Naraine college of Technology and science bhopal

MBBS a rollercoaster ????

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
