I wrote an exam called the 'common entrance exam' of Karnataka called KCET. The cut-off was around 80k - 90k for engineering but for the bachelor's of planning, it differs more higher ranks below 1 lakh. I got the college at 2nd round and I joined immediately. There's a new course launching in our college called B.design. B. Plan is quite easier than architecture or engineering. For the admission procedure, u need 5 photocopies, the 10th and 12th marks card of originals and Xerox, xerox of income and caste certificates, and bank details. The good thing about the college is they have well-experienced lecturers and good management. The concerning thing is that the B.design course hasn't launched yet but though this college has provided students to join the college. When students come to the college for admission, the management advises them to join B.planning as the course hasn't launched yet. If there is no such course in the department.
B. Planning is a course where u plan a city or town layout or how it should be built. It's not the same as architecture but similar to it. This course has opportunities in working at both the private and government sectors, that's the reason I chose the course. Lecturers who teach us have done their masters and teach us in a very easy way. They make sure that each student has learned about the topic. The fee ranges from 1lakh 10k to 1lakh 40k. The entrance exams for Bachelor's of planning are KCET, JEE and COMEDK.
Some companies are Kreative Architects, Meister Varma Architects, GP Infra, CR Narayan Rao, PSP Architects and Design, ISiri Architects+design, Megawide, ACS Design, and greenscape consultants. I only know about the companies I exactly have less idea of the roles.
A few placements I know are in GOOGLE, Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike, NASA, etc. My plan after completing my Master's is to become a town or urban planner. To work in rural uplifting organizations is a very good opportunity.
Life on our campus is very peaceful. Nobody will question or judge you for minor mistakes in our knowledge. The hostel price is quite high, it is the same as our academic fee. The fee that we pay is for one whole academic year that is for per year. The sports club has cricket, throwball, volleyball, football, kabaddi, and badminton. The other club has Python, Java, AI, and GIS to learn in their leisure time. We have wifi in the college, hostel, library, and canteen. As I'm a day scholar I don't know what hostel food tastes like honestly but the canteen food is not that good.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
