This college is located in the place where the more happening goes on in the Bengaluru (Kormangala). Vemana is a VTU affiliated college and there are plans that they might be autonomous, I'm not so sure about this information. You choose this college for good career then yes you can buy you will have to be very focused and determined to study. This is a very good college for a middle class person. Everything in this college is well maintained and well structured. No, there are no written tests or interviews or the group discussions for the college admission. Admissions happen via KCET, COMEDK and lastly via management, if there are other quotas yeah...!
The faculty here are the best with Their teaching skills and other things too. Students have to cope up with the teachers pace of teaching, this doesn't say that teachers teach very fast they are perfect and yes they do support on other curriculum activities and co-curicular activities. They have a association called KRJS which gives scholarship to meritorious students. There are other scholarships which you will have to enguiry in the college office where there is a scholarship dept.
I haven't completed my course but, according to my course and Scheme of VTU we had to an intrenship in the 5th sem end. There was this internship institution named Dev Minds had approached to our college and I had an opportunity to get my internship done for a month. I was awarded with best performer in the intrenship too. Yes we do get many intership companies approaching our college..
Yes, we do have a placement and training cell where all these placement things happen. We do get placements from companies but nowadays it's abit less probably due to recession in the industry. Apart from it out college has good companies approaching and has a good and average package of 4-5lacs pa.
When I joined this college it was boring nothing much happens. There was only a fest in the even semester and a sports meet in the odd semester. Later now they have made many of the clubs which includes art, music, sports, NSS, NCC, coding, and other clubs too. We do have a girls hostel(in the campus) and a boys hostel which is around 4-5kms away from college. This is all I know about the hostel things. We do have a library with n no. Of books which is gonna eat up and heat up your head. Takes a lot of efforts to complete engineering.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
