- First thing I like about my college is the Faculty , They one top Ph.D holders in Bangalore and have a great experience in teaching students . The student - Teacher approach is very well maintained and they are very supportive during our bad times in our educational life.
- Second Thing I like about the college is Campus infrastructure, as mentioned in about sections that the Tution fee is around 1 lakh and they have maintained a very well infrastructure for the price we paid . there is a women's Lounge for womens to take rest , have some peace of mind, they have maintained good condition of the washrooms , there are many drinking water supply points . Good Class Room , Benches , we have projectors in class room for presentation purposes etc.,
Dislikes
- One thing I don't like about the campus is that the campus is small but the number of students studying in the campus are relatively more , which makes it more Crowded . That's the only thing I dislike about our college .
Remarks :
BMS College of Engineering is one of the top 3 colleges in Bangalore . It was my dream to join this college so that I can achieve things in future. It has a very good infrastructure, fabulous facilities and much more interesting things. We didn't have any test kind of thing as we joined the college by attempting an competitive exam (KCET , COMEDK , etc .,
Course Curriculum Overview :
we have around 5-6 working hours a day , all the subject have working hours based on the credit system . The faculties are good and teach well , give proper guidance for the exams , they give us projects , AAT presentations etc . We have our Semester End exams every 4-5 months and two internal which will scheduled after two months of commencement of our new sem and after the first internals we have our second internals after one month . The difficulty level of the Semester End exams are medium ie neither that easy nor that tough . Coming to the fees , tution fee for BE program is Rs.1,03,000 and I'm from a reservation category (SC) So i initially paid Rs.33,720 during admission and had to pay Rs.69,826 one month ago in April as the management informed the above amount (Rs.69,826) will be paid to us by State Scholarship portal (SSP).
Campus Life :
As I'm an introvert my social life is not that good , but the campus and the overall infrastructure is on point. There are around 20-30 clubs in our college in which I have joined the ROTARACT CLUB which will be very useful in future as a good part in my resume. There are many Social Pages of Our College on Instagram which is handled by the Students of BMSCE . The one and only food I like college campus is HOSTEL MESS FOOD , that's the only place where I love eating food , we have different items for different days and the price is very reasonable for Day - scholars to eat there which is around Rs.70 or Rs.80 depending on the menu .

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
