So, I got this IIT allowed through JOSSA counseling, I read on Quora that this is a new IIT so there are lots of opportunities there, and also because of overall less strength there is a very high chance of individual growth
Course Curriculum Overview :
Mechanical engineering at IIT Palakkad is one of the best streams there, most of the faculties are from IIT Madras, and the curriculum is almost the same as IIT Madras as that is our parent IIT, overall it was a wonderful experience there.
Internships Opportunities :
yes, I got an internship offer from UST Global via the college placement cell. I worked on ML and computer vision there for 2 months. It was a wonderful experience working with new industry standard technologies, the whole team of UST was very supportive throughout the internship.
Placement Experience :
Placements are very nice as compared to other 3rd gen IITs, many companies visit and almost 100 percent placement is there. you can sit for noncore companies also being from core branches like mechanical or civil, the placement committee is very helpful.
Campus Life :
Life is awesome at IIT Pkd, the weather, the scenery everything is so beautiful, also there are so many clubs that are active always where you can get exposure and try out new things. there are clubs for everything, culture, sports, and tech, also there is always a competition going out there within the clubs.

Placement Experience :
Not yet attempted for placements, but so far the placements in previous years where quite good. Lots of MNCs , core industries etc picks students from the campus. I think more than half of last year's passouts were placed in campus drives.

Placement and job opportunities were higher and after the completion of course we can get job at Malabar cancer itself and the placement were done by campus interview and the student can participate and get the job
Amazing campus Life, poor career growth

There are currently no placement cell in this college which is pretty disappointing for a college as old as 150 years that too with elite alumnis. There have been planning for proper placement cell but as of now there is nothing

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
