- Canteen. Canteen was not good in our collage the food was not tasty.
- Wifi. Wifi is not good in our collage it's very low speed. Their is no wifi in everywere.
Remarks :
I selected my collage through DCET and I chose this collage. I studied for DCET. My DCET rank is 4953. this is the last cut-off for HK qouta. Overall college is good. Nice infrastructure and place except collage canteen was bad. Placement wise it's is the best college in Davanagere.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose information science and engineering because I frist choose computer science but it was not selected that's why I am choosing information Science because it's relevant to cse. Faculty was supportive to students. The karnataka government give scholarships for OBC students 18100. and for SC/ST students they give 75000.
Internships Opportunities :
I completed my python internship in Rove Labs company. Their is no stipend for internship. And it helps to our placement. the future like 8th sem the collage gave gives opportunity to complete internship in compny with a stipend
Placement Experience :
Compare to other colleges in Davanagere placement our college is the best. The recruiters come to our college like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Raymond, Cipla, sensera, Bosch, and other companies. The eligibility criteria for placement is there are no backlogs in final year and above 7.5 cgpa is preferred for placement. Example there are 180 students are likely 160 students will be placed on campus or placement. The highest package of last year was 20LPA.
Campus Life :
T is their I our collage both for boys and girls with separate buildings they charge for 75000 for the first year and 2nd 3rd 4th they charge 65000.food was taste and 3 students for each room. In our they are many fest conduct in our collage like very grand function is DAVANA its held in even sem it's a very beautiful fest and ethnic day also conduct in odd sem and branch fest also held in our collage.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
