Remarks :
The admission process is solely based on grade 12th scores. There are no entrance exams for ug course (BPT). Students can apply for the course online through the official website portal, and further details and communication will be done by the college via email. There was a small interaction phase with the principal after all the admission processes, wherein you are asked basic questions about the course and why you chose this course. The college is not really upto the mark in terms of infrastructure. The college promotes very few extra curricular activities apart from sports. The college fests or other events which are conducted are not really as amazing, compared to others.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course as I was interested in healthcare and wanted to heal and provide a service which makes a change in people's lives. In terms of academics, the students have high patient exposure which helps to develop high clinical reasoning skills. The faculty are mostly experienced doctors which aid the students in the learning process. But in terms of overall college experience, I'ld always suggest going for other better alternative colleges, and preferring JSS hospital only for internship. There are 3 internal exams and 1 yearly exam,instead of semester exams. The exams are on a moderate difficulty level, and possible to crack for an average student. The fee hike has been significant this year and has increased by more than 50%, which puts into question if the college and course is even worth the current fee structure. There are scholarships available for natives of Karnataka and for students who maintain an aggregate of first class throughout the entire course duration.
Internships Opportunities :
Jss hospital offers placement for internships from various colleges across India. But no stipend is provided to eother the interns or externs. Postings are assigned to various departments including paeds,neuro, cbr, ortho and more.
Placement Experience :
Internship and placements can be done in the Jss hospital itself. Many graduates have been placed in reputed positions including physiotherapists in national and state level teams. The eligibility criteria depejds on the post you applied for.
Campus Life :
Campus life is pretty boring. College fest,cultural day, ethnic day and sports events are the fests conducted. Though they may sound as many, they are really not as upto the mark, compared to other colleges. A wide library with books on almost all ug and pg related topics and a spacious reading room is a highlight of this institution. Most classrooms are equipped with smartboards but the other infrastructure of the college is pretty poor to moderate. Rooms or PGs can be rented near the area Agrahara. Students have classes in both Jss Medical college and Jss College of physiotherapy. So rooms can also be rented near the area of the medical college which is a more student friendly and lively locality.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
