- The faculty being practising architects give an upper hand to the students of BSSA since beside from course knowledge, they keep giving us examples from their real life practice and speak to us about budget, which generally students aren’t aware of.
- The other plus point being the facilities in class, and the wood workshop which allows us to get the hand on experience we need. The college also provides us with printers which can print upto A0 size, laser cut machines, 3D printing machines.
- The college keeps on hosting many events where they invite famous architects and other people from the industry to talk about certain topics which are crucial.
Dislikes
- The one thing I dislike about NMIMS, not particularly BSSA, Is that the college gets over in just half a corridor of a building.
- The other negative point is that though there’s ample to drafting tables and chairs, most of those drafting tables are broken, and you need to get behind the admins life to get them repaired.
Remarks :
For admission to architecture college, all you need is a good NATA and 12th Boards score as they calculate your average on that basis, honestly for me choosing BSSA was a decision based on a comparable note on the other colleges I got admission in. But I have no regrets in not having done deep research on the college prior. They teach you every little thing, right from the basics, in an advanced manner. They are very forward yet very grounded in their course structure. Having comparing my classes to my other architecture friends from different colleges, I feel proud and satisfied of the pressure that BSSA puts us through. I’ll admit that life will become hell, you WILL NOT have time for anything at all, but then that’s important for you to experience success, right? BSSA works in a very strategic manner where they focus on the students conceptual thinking in the first two years. Third year onwards, it gets more practical and definitive. BSSA journey will give you all the feels.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The reason for me choosing this course has to do with the fact that I cannot work a 9-5 life, I cannot function in a monotonous environment, and I cannot not have creativity around me. I needed these things with professionalism and a course that will make me independent. The idea of choosing architecture came from the fact that I had chosen science with maths. Ofcourse I had a lot of options open to myself, but architecture seemed apt at the time because I was drawn to (not buildings in particular) but the idea of the creation of something. The teaching faculty at BSSA are practising architects themselves, passed out from famous colleges in Bombay, and are very qualified for their position. Internal and term-end exams are a must and it’s essential to perform good in both. The difficulty level depends on the capability of the student. I always paid attention in class and did all my work regularly, never found any subject difficult. Honestly it’s just about time management.
Internships Opportunities :
Since I completed my second year this semester, my college doesn’t offer any internship at that level. So I honestly have no idea about it, but from what I’ve heard from my seniors, the college does provide internship with firms working at a good position.
Campus Life :
I haven’t enrolled in any clubs. Neither do I live in a hostel. Speaking about the library of BSSA, where I’ve been spending a lot of time lately, the library has a lot of variety of books on every aspect of architecture. You will never be able to take enough from the library.

An industry focused learning experience
Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
Reality of niat
Placement Experience :
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Average college provide average facilities

Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.

engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.

there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.

The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
