To be honest, the college isn't good at infrastructure, would be rated average or maybe below average. The faculty is well experienced but one who is focused gets going. The placements depends entirely on your performance. The companies have a good impression about the institution as it is the oldest marine college in the country. It is formerly known as D.M.E.T(Directorate of Marine Engineering). The entrance test would be IMU-CET, conducted throughout India. The exam consists questions from 12th class Maths, physics and chemistry and English as an additional topic. Overall the college life is well enjoyable excluding the fact that the infrastructure is not as in the other deemed universities or private colleges.

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed

The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
