There were a no. of factors that helped me make my decision to choose this college. The hostels and the campus buildings are very good as they are newly built. The admission process is through the JOSAA portal which considers JEE Mains rank for seat allotment. After filling out the form we fill in our choices in preference order. Six rounds of counselling are held. I got my seat allowed in Computer Science and Engineering at NIT Delhi at the end of the 6th round. I was delighted after the counselling results came out.
I was always interested in computer technology and wanted to explore how things work that's why I chose Computer Science and Engineering. The faculty-to-student ratio in our college is around 1:20. All the faculties are well qualified and have done their Ph. D.s from foreign universities or prestigious Indian IITs and NITs. The course curriculum gets updated after every 2-3 years to keep it up to date. The semester lasts for around 4 months and mid-term is scheduled at the start of 3rd month and the term exam at the end of the semester. There are various scholarships available to students both at the college level and at government offered.
Companies like Trilogy, Flipkart, Sprinkler, MakeMyTrip, Meesho, DeShaw, Cognizant, Deloitte, ClearWater, Circle K any many more came for internships and full-time offers and many more still to come. Their averege stipend was around 80000 to 120000. We have to do 2 projects major and minor.
The 5th semester students become available for the 2-month internships and the 7th become eligible for the 6-month internship and full-time roles. Almost everyone got placed the previous year and they almost had 2-3 offers in their hand. I also plan for the campus placement and to work in a corporate environment after my degree.
The annual techno-cultural fest Anveshna is held around November and December. We have a central library which has all the books available for the students. There is also a facility of a book bank for the students which lend books to students for the entire semester. Classrooms are equipped with smart screens with stylus and the campus is fully centrally cooled. We have fully furnished sports facilities for cricket, football, lawn tennis, kabaddi, volleyball, athletics, basketball, badminton, and indoor games like table tennis, chess, carrom, etc. The various clubs are the cultural club, technical club, GDSC, NSS, etc. The hostels are very good almost the best among all colleges but the mess food is very bad. The hostels are allowed for almost every student.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
