The lovely infrastructure is what attracts most of the students at first, along with the wide range of sport courts including basketball and football. The canteen is huge too but the food is average. The admission process was pretty easy and we got through within an hour of entry with document submission and course discussion with the admin departments. There was no interview nor written exam for the course that I chose but there was consideration of 12th marks percentage and if all the subjects were cleared with a good score. The education system of the college is good enough with well educated teachers but in some subjects the teachers lack expertise and don’t put enough effort into teaching but just bluntly read out their PPT and call it a day. Not to take away the hard work of few teachers who actually put in work and balance it out especially for subjects like neurology and cardiology. Overall good balance of work and play. Would recommend for science students to apply.
I chose this course so that I could get into allied Heath sciences without being qualified or being havocked by NEET qualifications or the cut off ranks. The subject catered to me as I love science and it’s mostly related to the functioning and movements of the human body , It also covers a major chunk in rehab programme and bringing back a patient to 100 optimal state after their treatment in any given condition. All the faculty is qualified and very well versed in their subjects graduated from big universities with masters and doctorate degrees, apart from that some faculties are equally fun and would love to share the best student teacher experience with them. The teaching method is good enough with regular class sessions , use of PPT and live demo of experiments but it generally lacks the input of the student and how the student can develop the skills. As it generally lacks in giving practical sessions to the students. The cost to study is average and affordable.
Internship is usually looked after by the Students themselves as the college doesn’t provide any of it. It’s a big hassle to find hospitals and fit into the qualification criteria but otherwise speaking from experience, there are a lot of hospitals and rehab centres that would love to have interns and it’s always a space to learn and grow more than a student from the college itself. Every hospital allows the therapist to touch, observe, assess and treat the patient independently but under the surveillance of a senior therapist.
There are no such placement opportunities but there are postings in different hospitals throughout the course which helps develop only on basic knowledge without treating the patient on your own. There is wide range of opportunities after getting the graduation degree but have to work for it on your own since college doesn’t provide any placement opportunities, atleast in BPT course.
There are a wide range of fests and cultural events spaced throughout the year where you can showcase your talent and flaunt your skills apart from academics. It has both interclass events and inter department events where everyone competes equally and it’s worth the watch. There are also equal opportunities for sports events and there are always well equipped coaches and trainers who can help out with it. Regular international students affiliated matches also take place in the premises and it’s worth a show. Not much social groups or clubs are present but there are definitely times where clubs are made for managing events and improving social skills. The annual event element7 is a festival of its own with over 4000 participants and in-house participants along with renowned Bollywood singers and DJs lighting up the show for the 2 nights. Hostel life is average and not very fun as the college is far from the city and needs travel even for basic amenities sometimes.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.
I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities
The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
