That was my relative suggestion to visit. The first impression was great, As we entered the campus for the first time the placement posters of students were great. The admission process and other aspects of college were explained to us during the interaction time. The responses were good. Also, the placement history was an important factor for me to choose this college. There were no such interviews or tests from college during admissions but the KCET students do enroll from allotted seats by the government. The campus is medium-scale. The hostel is integrated inside the campus as a block.
I chose the electronics and communication engineering course because it is an evergreen course and also I had my diploma in ECE so I had to choose ECE. The faculty are all well qualified and some hold PhD. Faculty usually teach in English, because students are of different languages. The term/sem exams are exactly timely according to the VTU schedule and the difficulty level is medium/hard sometimes, because of the papers are from VTU. At the admission process, they mentioned that there is no fee hike policy or anything like that I did confirm this but after a year of our 3rd year fees we saw a hike of 1500 in addition to the old fee, and 4th year we saw the hike ok around 3000. However, they mentioned that these are because of college extra training and other things. From college, only eligible students (students scoring above 8.5 GPA) will get a Leo Muthu scholarship, but we got ssp scholarship of around 25k in our 1st year only. Because we were management quota.
Yes, some companies do visit college for internship opportunities during our 7th sem one of which I remember is Metler which has the role of PMO and DevOps with a stipend of 15k per month. Also, we had an internship opportunity at HAL as a one-month intern without any stipend. We had a great experience at the company as interns. Also, we got an online internship opportunity.
The eligibility criteria for placement are different from company to company, generally no active backlog, and 65-75% or 7.5 GPA will be the criteria. A few recruiters are Zoho(no criteria), tech Mahindra, tiger, Meridian Technologies, metler, by us, misogi, and many more. The college also takes us to pool campus drives which is great. The minimum package can be 3.6 LPA, the Average package can be 4 or 4.5 LPA and the highest is 9 LPA this year and this is also cracked by only one student. Different profiles are offered some companies come for only internships and some companies start training before college ends some profiles are as follows SDE, BDA, implementor role, etc. These are not exact numbers these are based on what we see internally, the percentage of students getting placed - For example - out of 100 students 60 will be eligible and in these 60 if 30 are placed 50% placement rate. So our percentage would come somewhere around 65-75%. I plan to work after my degree.
The campus life I would say that average over here. We are not allowed to go out of college on time without permission. Every department hosts the fest every year. They conduct different activities during the fest and other students are also allowed to participate. The library has a great collection of books that are aligned with our syllabus. And apart from those we can also take any book we want. Journals are available but less prioritized. We should renew the book every 15 days. Sports are conducted every year students do participate and others watch them. Different clubs are designed a student can join any club and take part in those activities but these clubs are usually inactive. As the hostel is integrated the food is average, but they prepare different dishes and have time. Because the hostel fee is high we did not prefer hostels. The students prefer the government hostel a locality 4km away or to rent houses in the locality.
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

All the faculties are extremely well qualified from top institutions of the world and they are all extremely approachable and nice. The term exams we had were split like CP1, CP2, and CP3 of 20+25+25 marks each. They were some easy ones, and some application based, which develops the engineering thinking mindset
