The college was near my home. This college has friendly faculty and is now turned autonomous. Claret is also great for sports and encourage other such activities. I have been into a lot of fests thanks to my department. Learning isn't that difficult here and teachers also hold extra classes in case of any doubts. Would recommend this college.
I have chosen BBA(Regular). The reason being was I was from humanities background. So, accountancy was difficult. However, it was quite easy as the teachers helped us to catch up. Overall this course is better for someone who's looking into marketing, sales, finance etc.
With the help of our alumni, and other contacts and networks. Internship opportunities are also excellent. Our internship was held in the first semester itself. We were given a month to do the internship along with any mooc course.
Placements are on a average scale here. There have been great companies visiting us, and also the the placement cell is good. But however I feel it is still not upto the mark. But aspiring students can get great opportunities over here.
Out College has major fests held every year. Mayurika is one of the biggest intercollege fests held once a year. Apart from that, there are numerous inter department fests, inter collegiate fests too.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.
I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities
The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
