- The first and the best thing i like about the college is its academics, they have best faculties who have many years of experience of treating the patients and teaching.
- The second thing i like about the college is the campus life, as there are various clubs and societies in the college in which one can enroll and explore oneself. Every year the college organises a cultural festival of 3-5 days in which there are various activities like games, quizzes, dance, singing, standup comedy, etc.
Dislikes
- The first thing i dislike about the college is the hostel allotment as hostels are not provided to every students.
- Second thing which i dislike a little bit is the hostel food which is not that much good according to the price which they charge (3000 per month).
Remarks :
This college is known for its academics and their teaching. Almost every year the top University ranker is from this college. There is not such any interview for the addmission but the college is allotted on the basis of neet-UG cutoff and your score. After your name in the merit list, you have to report to the college with the required documents (which has to be original), and after that a medical exam will be conducted.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As everyone knows that medical is a very noble profession, you have to deal with the actual life of the patients, so you need to have the knowledge about every aspect of human body and the college is best in giving you that knowledge. The facilities are the actual senior doctors who are practicing in the same hospital only. In the morning you have your classes and in afternoon you have your clinical posting in which you actually see the things you studied in the theory in the patients itself. You will also be provided with the scholarships which are given by the delhi government.
Internships Opportunities :
You will have to complete one year of mandatory internship in the associated hospital of the college. In the internship, you will have 1 month of posting in various departments. You will get a stipend of Rs 26,300 every month.
Placement Experience :
After the completion of course, every student is eligible for the placement. Initially you will have to complete one year of internship in the hospital for which you are provided with a stipend every month. After you got your degree you can join the hospital as a junior resident or you can go for post graduation for which you have to give a PG entrance exam You'll get Rs. 26,300 as a stipend in the internship. And as a junior resident you will get around 80k to 90k.
Campus Life :
The campus life is good in the college. You have a big ground, badminton court, volleyball ground, indoor games room. There are various clubs and societies (dance, music, arts, fashion, drama)for exploring your talent. The infrastructure of college is good. You have hightech lecture theatres , auditorium, practical room. There is a canteen in the campus. The hostel rooms are of dual occupancy with attached washroom, free wifi, AC and washing machine facility. The food in mess of hostel is decently good, the menu keeps on changing every day, with a special meal once a week. There is also a small canteen in the hostel also. The hostels are not alloted to everyone, all the AIQ (All india quota) students will get the hostel and the delhi students will get the hostels on the distance basis. Almost 50 boys and 30 girls will get the hostels every year from the new batch. You can rent a room of share a PG in the nearby area, there are many rooms and PG available in the nearby area of 1-2 kms.

But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college

Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
