Remarks :

Well, the placement cell of the college is very good. Especially for Technical Degrees like BCA, MCA, and Btech. The highest CTC is 50lpa which too Btech and BCA. Since I wanted to apply for BCA and after looking at the placement of this college I knew this is the one I will apply for. Moreover, I can easily get myself transferred to any other of the Amity's branches if I want to. You can also apply to study abroad for a semester at low fees at one of its international branches. Now for the selection process, if you have achieved more than 80% in your 12th then you can get direct admission into the college, and if not then you have to go through a PI round. This round is based on your communication skills and way of answering questions asked. Questions like What are your ambitions? Why this course? Where do you see yourself in 10 years? etc are asked generally. They also provide you with scholarships based on your 12th marks.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Well looking at the placement opportunities provided by this college, especially for my course I chose Amity. I was preparing for NEET but unfortunately, I was not able to secure a seat in a state where reservation is 77% I chose to pursue another course. Having computer as an extra subject in my inter I chose to pursue BCA. The course curriculum is very good, updated with time, and helpful. Languages like C, Python, Java, C++, Javascript, CSS, HTML, etc all are taught during the 3 years of the course. And it is not limited to the programming languages but also other topics are covered. The faculties are very helpful and qualified. Their way of teaching is above par. Exams are taken every 6 months. Odd semester exams are held during Jan and sem exams are held during June. If you have prepared well you can easily score good marks in these exams. For scholarships, we have e-kalyan which is provided by the state but for OBC, SC/ST only.

Campus Life :

The campus life is good. Well, the infrastructure is not complete, it's under construction but it is in progress at a very rapid rate. Fest is conducted every year called AMIPHORIA. It's a 3-day fest. It happened last month only. From 23rd of April to 26th. It includes multiple games, hackathons, and cultural programs Going on all the 3 days. On the 2nd day, all these programs are followed by DJ night where a celebrity DJ is invited. This year it was TERI MIKO. A Ukrainian DJ. It was very fun. On the last day, we have Bollywood night where a Bollywood concert is held. This year Aastha Gill was invited. As for the library, it has all the books and journals you could wish for. And we have an e-library as well. Lots of sports programs are arranged from time to time. There are many clubs also, from sports to literary, from cultural to skill enhancement clubs. For hostel it the college hostel is still under construction, almost complete. Until then the college provide you hostel in the local areas.

The Real BIT Sindri Experience

Placement Experience :

Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.

My Dream College

Placement Experience :

College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum. It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

Life in g.p latehar

Placement Experience :

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

The life of DeC dumka

Placement Experience :

"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
