A lot of people told me that my university had the best mass communication programmes, we were practically trained which is rare in other colleges. We could choose our specialisation and proceed further as per our interests. The admission process is simple, one just needs to pass an entrance interview after a basic requirement of percentage in the 12th board. On the campus visit, one will find great architecture and hygienic canteens which is a plus point. One thing I believe to be the best about our college is that it celebrates every festival unitedly. We have overall GPA-based employment opportunities for ALL the students. Internship programmes and international semester exchange programmes are very beneficial. The clubs (extracurricular) are highly opportunistic for those who seek relief. Regular tests, and internal assessments make sure that students get the knowledge; best of all. In my opinion, Chitkara University is a great exposure for anyone!
All our faculties are highly qualified and that is quite evident in the way of teaching. All the courses are set up with separate deans which is great for administrative purposes. I don't think I would have been trained any better than this. Currently, our college made me sign up with a very popular radio company and it's so good to have exposure to fields one wants to try. Our annual exchange Disney semester programme has boosted too from May to October which is again a drastic opportunity
Summer internships, weekly internships and NOC offered for interns being hired for permanent jobs are quite relevantly seen in our college. The work-life balance is made sure of and recommendations from your very own faculty help alot I am in 3rd year and until now I have completed 3 internships Two in radio stations and one in a production house The three were referred to me by the university
100 per cent placement is guaranteed. The placement is on the basis of overall GPA and it is a safe spot to give it a try Other than the placements, internship programmes are very nice. As mentioned; I've been allowed to work with radio stations and production studios on behalf of our college ID.
Hostel facilities are quite comfortable. Rare to hear but the food in the mess is genuinely nice and if not our canteen is huge we have dominoes , baskin robbins, subway, lapinoz and whatnot ( yes these all are inside our campus ) Our college with a clear differentiation manages both academics and fun. We were made to design our websites which would be linked with official pages. CSMC holds a good position overall the universities in India and now I know why
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year
Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job
I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.
Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs
placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil
Placements are average on comparison with other private colleges around here Highest package this year - 11.3Lpa The teachers help very much in placements and internship . The TPC cell of the college is dead for their work
The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro, hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.
There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.
The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
