This college is quite well known in the state among private colleges for engineering. It was also recommended to me by a mentor of mine. It offers quite a lot of placements. The admission procedure was pretty smooth. You get selected based on your rank in the KEAM entrance examination. The cut-off is around 14,000 Then on visiting the college the rest of the procedures are relatively simpler. There isn't any interview procedure but, a designated faculty will talk to you through the course and ask you about your intentions of choosing this course to guide you through the journey and give you an idea about what is awaiting you.
From a very young age, I was interested in choosing a career in space science and astrophysics but in the technical field. I thought that the best way for that was to pursue engineering in CS. The college is well rated and the faculty is pretty good. All institutions have their faults. Some of the faculty can not teach. They have areas of expertise but they aren't able to convey it to the students. Nonetheless, I wouldn't say that it sticks out as a sore thumb because we also have other teachers who are willing to help us out if we are facing any difficulties. The term examinations conducted provided very good insight. The difficulty level of the course is a little high I would say the campus lacks a little liveliness because of the strict management. We have very few fests and almost all are educational. The fee structure is decent compared to others and is adequate for the services provided We also have scholarships approved by the government here.
There are a decent amount of recruiters coming for placements. They are also big corporations. No offers range from 1-3 for students who performed well. The packages are approximately around 6LPA on average. After getting the degree I would personally like to pursue higher studies.
We have 2 main fests but as of the past 2 years, nothing was done. Due to some internal issues and also a strict and restricting management. But when conducted it was a grand program of a maximum of 3 days. The library is a golden mark of the college based on its aesthetics as well as resources. It is spacious and has all amenities as well. Sports and other extracurricular activities are limited even though we do have basketball, football, cricket, kabaddi, kho kho, and badminton. Most of the encouragement is for academic activities and programs. We do not have clubs in particular but the IEEE association has a unit here as well as other tech associations. The hostel is an eyesore. The facilities provided are not at all up to the mark. The living conditions are poor. The mess is a mess, literally. The fee conditions are faulty. Therefore a lot of the students opt for PGs and they are available in plenty.
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
The faculity is generally experienced and supportive most students are satisfied. With the teaching clinical exposure. Facilities are friendly with the students. Regularly conducts class test and model exam to help students prepare for their studies and university examination. Faculties are high qualified and experienced
Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.
I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
As I'm a first year student I've not got information about the placement but there are so many placement options from South Indian Bank, icici bank and also from companies like deliotte etc The college has connection with many international companies too.
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
