- Leaving 1-2 teachers all the faculty members are good and friendly.
- Campus life is also very enjoyable. Events are organised monthly to keep the students engaged.
Dislikes
- The college area is small , which could be increased.
- There are no grounds, so if want to practice for any sports students need to go to the sports complex.
Remarks :
This college is very good in academics. It is reaccredited with an A grade by NAAC. Has a very experienced staff with a good supportive nature. Comes under top colleges of GGSIPU. Has a great study environment.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am currently pursuing a BBA as I have a keen interest in the Human Resources field and want to learn more about it. The teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Financial assistance and scholarships are available for students who need them. The difficulty level of mid-term exams is moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
Haven’t yet applied for any internship through the college, but am looking forward to it. Have got 2 opportunities already through the internship cell of the college. Not the best but not worst as well.
Placement Experience :
There is a proper placement committee and teachers also help in that. Enough opportunities are given. Recruitment is done every month. Various companies come for on-campus recruitment. 50% of students get recruited.
Campus Life :
An annual fest is organised every year in March or April. In every semester students are taken for field and factory visits for better understanding . Diwali fest is also organised every year. There is an annual sports meet also conducted by GGSIPU in which all the colleges under it participate and compete with each other. Events take place almost every month.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
