I was a student of the first batch of CUET examinations done by NTA for UG. This made me opt for this college. At first, I felt my life at this college would not be good but as soon as I discovered the practical exposure and the administrative staff of the college. I was happy at my end because I made a good decision by entering and enrolling myself in this college.
The course curriculum, academics, and faculties made my journey at ease. All the faculties at the college are in media houses right now which helps all of us. A lot in every aspect as we get real-time knowledge about the particular topic. We discuss the news daily and we try to investigate things if it needs that skill. According to the fees, the facilities are genuinely nicer than any other college in NCR.
Yes, I have opted for many internships, I have done project-based internships in the role of voice artist in the Iktai groups. Which I had to record the commands for different companies like MG, Kia, etc. in which my payout was according to the no. of commands.
Eligibility criteria for the placement is for every student rest it depends on the role for it. 100% of placements are done every year from the campus. The placement drives are held for sem5/6 students of bachelor's and sem3/4 students of master and diploma. In which many companies visit on the campus. The highest package in the last year was 18 lacs and the job location was in Dubai. The package solely depends on the skill sets of students and also it depends on the field as well; because everyone is aware the starting salary in journalism is very low whereas in Ad-Pr and Production-Direction it is high.
The fest in our college is conducted twice a year. Once every semester, one is an internal test and the other one is which we invite other colleges to for the different competitions at the campus. There are different types of clubs for every interest and the activities are held every week for the clubs. The books and the journals are available in the library and also, if it isn’t available at the moment; they are provided through e-lib. I am a Delhiite, so I don’t have an idea of the hostel, as I didn’t opt out of it.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
