- Talking about the infrastructure of the college it is well maintained 300 Decker campus with the lush green campus and cleanliness is very good. All the buildings are very well maintained there is new buildings or also under construction. Very good hostel facilities are being provided hostel 10 and hostel 8 are very good and good single seater rooms are also being provided. A very goods Olympic size swimming pool is also there and for playing sports purposes a big sports complex is there and badminton court and volleyball court are also there.
- Campus life here is very good hostel life is excellent and good facilities are being provided for improving campus life experience is sports facilities are very good at gym also is being provided and many cafeteria is like moxie and other are there for having fun and chill. Late night cafeteria also there parathas are very famous late night food. Environmental is very friendly and you could have fun with your friends club culture is very good if you are in the society is you will be having very good friend in the clubs and that is very good experience you get to learn many things from your seniors and you teach at the same time to your juniors.
Dislikes
- Faculties are some time at a bit rudely but at the end there not like very rigid they helps you in many academic and social problems. Obviously if you are not a person who studies well then the nature of the faculties will not be very good towards you.
- 75% attendance criteria is there there are some faculties if your attendance is even less than by 1% they will not allow you to give examinations and second thing is that hostel timing is very bad here you have to be in the hostel before 9:00 even if you are a boy if you get late by even a minute then you have to talk to the border and give your identity card and there is a very much miss around get late by even a minute then you have to talk to the warden and give your identity card .
Remarks :
I have cleared jee mains and according to my rank and my interest, this college was best suited for me. This is one of the best colleges in North India and a national institute of technology. With the best NIRF rank and very good facilities, it is the institution of national importance that comes under MHRD.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have selected civil engineering as my preference as it gives a lot of opportunities in the government sector as well as in the private sector. Faculty here at NIT Kurukshetra are very experienced and very humble, they teach all of the course as much as possible and try to let students understand by themselves rather than spoon-feeding. Theoretical and practical knowledge combined and this amalgamation gives the best possible understanding to the students. Two mid-term and one end-term exams are there. My professors used to tell me that exams can't be tough if you have paid attention in class ..so I never faced any difficulty in the examination...and if you got into this college then obviously you are talented enough to clear the exams easily. If one is from the SC St catalogue he will get a complete fee waiver in tuition fees and students from a general category below 1 lakh income also get the same. If you are from the SC ST category you will get the scholarship as well.
Internships Opportunities :
I have got internship at the National Highway Authority of India there are many internship opportunities in the technical sector and nontech also. The college itself provides many internship opportunities and asks many companies to visit the campus for internships Microsoft and Google also give internship opportunities to the students. Many companies provide internship opportunities and also give free placement offers to students.
Placement Experience :
The students who have no backlogs are eligible for campus placement. Very good campus placement opportunities are there for the coding branch there are very good opportunities companies like Salesforce Medi Buddy Google Flipkart Microsoft are the regular recruiters. The highest package is included which is being offered by foreign companies and in the domestic highest package is around 60 to 55 lakhs. The core packages are around 10 to 15 lacs. The average package including all the branches of computer science, information technology mechanical engineering civil engineering, and production is around 10 lakh.
Campus Life :
In this college, many types of the fest are being organized. Text Parda is the technical fest in which many events are being organized which helps students increase their technical knowledge and apply the practical knowledge in the competition so that they can get awards and certificates. Confluence is the cultural fest in which many types of cultural events are being organized Kavya Anjali and Star Night are some of them. This is a very big event in the college and the whole college it feels like a festival in the college. There are many clubs in the college like in civil engineering there is an infrastructure society for electrical there are EMR and for mechanical there is mech SOC, for computer science technote, is there .. these are mainly technical societies and talking about the cultural society or clubs there is HlAD, ELAD, Anamika, MAD, ICELL, ROOH, SIKSHA and many more.

You have to be in the last semester to receive placemnet offers. There is no explicit eligibility criteria for it though. Some of the recruiters here include Manipal, Appolo, Fortis, Medanta. The highest package that i heard was 8LPA and teh average is around 4-5LPA. About 50-60% stduents acceot the placements. I personally want to be a paramedic at a top notch facility.
