- I mostly liked the course. It got great future opportunities.
- Library is great for studies which plays important role.
Dislikes
- Hospital facilities is poor, because it is far from city.
- Lab is only for 30 students , but in a batch we have 40 students. Which is quite difficult in adjustment.
Remarks :
As per the environment criteria college is good for studies and it's situated in 180 acres of land. But the hospital facilities is quite poor because of distance from the city. Yeah I have written the KCET exam and got 3673 rank in veterinary section , my category was 2A Rural. I have undergone KEA counseling process conducted by Karnataka govt. I got seat in second extended round which means third round. There is high competition for this course. 85% seats is for kea(domicile) and in that 50% seats are from agriculture quota, under which a practical exam will be conducted and seperate rank will be provided. As it comes to cut-off around 2500 KCET rank for general students. Counseling process will so easy, updates will be frequently provided by KEA, there is no worries in that. Overall the course is worth.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was planning for MBBS, but unfortunately I was not able to get seat. Because I was fond of medicine I chose veterinary. It is same as MBBS , added to that we will study about business in the field of livestocks. About exams 3 internals which is been conducted by college for 40 marks, best 2 out of 3 is taken and converted to 10 marks and added to externals. Externals is for 70 marks and practical at the end. Difficulty level varies a lot but as per my experience quite hard. I think there no hike in fees, if it happens it doesnt go beyond 70000 per year. SSP , NSP and University scholarships, we can choose any 1 of them according to your choice and category.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship program is compulsory for 1 year which is from University itself. We are placed all around Karnataka for internship program in which we salary of 20000 per month as per now, which may increase in future. In intership we are dealing with the hospital program as professional doctors.
Placement Experience :
Passing is enough for placements, but exception is for higher studies there is requirement of 7.5+ CGPA. The average salary package is 60000 per month. Companies do not recruit directly from college. As it percentage of placements I may say it is 95%. My plan is to do MVSc to continue in research field.
Campus Life :
Freshers party, and other programs are conducted. The time varies, depends upon the situation. Library is awesome , it's the best part of college, where freely enter or issue books for hostels. Class are digitally equipped, nice infrastructure. Sports are given more importance than cultural events, series of tournaments are conducted. Hostels are no fees , there are of only mess fees. A nutritive food. If opt. for PG or something u have to check from 3 km around the college.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
