A Honest Review Of IIIT RANCHI
Remarks :
The most important thing while choosing my college was my Jee mains score and the Ranchi city location. The placement of this college is also very good and satisfying to me. In my time, the average package of the college was 17 LPA for the 2022-2023 batch. These were all the factors on combining I decided to join his college. when I talk to my seniors I get to know that There are a lot of holidays in this college which provides ample amounts of time to do coding, development, and all the side hustle while a student can do while doing engineering. One can prepare for GATE, CAT, UPSC, and all other exams as there is very little attendance pressure and a good proxy culture among students which leads to a lot of cooperation and quite fun. Finally, I want to conclude that this college is not a bad choice to join if you do have not a good IIT or NIT CSE option. Joining this college will be a great 4 years life-long memorable experience and make your life a good quality time.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The first and honest reason for choosing this course was that I did not have so much options and the second thing was that. I want to study CSE or ECE branch. The second reason was that I also wanted to live in a hilly area and like to live in nature very closely. I like rainfall and Ranchi is one of them. Here, you will find good rainfall and very little summer. This could be heaven for those people who hate summers as there is only a 2-month summer which is in April and in May.
Placement Experience :
So basically placements depend upon how much hard work you do in your placements. The college's support is also very great and very supportive. If you have good skills and a very good resume with extra co-curricular activities you can also go outside and try off-campus and grab a job.
Campus Life :
There is a good campus life here at IIIT Ranchi as we enjoy a good club culture and a cordial environment with our respected seniors. This enables us to interact and ask our doubts about our seniors and enrich our knowledge and experience.

Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.

College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements

Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
