The college at the time of my admission in 2020 used to run in MNIT campus, hence we got the exposure of studying in an NIT. Currently, the campus has shifted to Kota. The college did not take any GD/PI. Admissions are through rank secured in JEE Mains. For the ECE course the cutoff was around 30000 whereas the cutoff for CSE was near around 22000.
The course is very well designed with the latest courses in the respective subjects. In case you are pursuing ECE then CSE subjects are also well aligned in the course and vice versa. The professors are also good but strict at the same time. The college maintains a strict 75% attendance policy. Scholarships are provided to only a few students that too according to the criteria listed in the NSP portal. The fees are a little high compared to NITs and IITs. 4 years fees are 840000 and hostel and mess fees are around 32000 per semester. Each semester is of 6 months and every month we have 2 exams at intervals of 3 months. They are midterm and end-term exams. Difficulty is generally whatever is taught in the classes. ECE courses are a bit tough.
The eligibility criteria for campus placements is that no ongoing back should be there in any subject. If there is then the student needs to clear backlogs. A few of the recruiters for the 2024 year are Flipkart, Carrier, Meesho, Samsung, NAV, Maq, Autodesk, Hindustan Times, Zscaler, Motive, Brane, TA Digital, etc, and many more. In this time of recession, more than 100 offers were made by companies. The highest On-campus is around 40.5lpa and the average is around 12lpa. The profiles were mostly software developer roles, few were Business Analyst, frontend roles, ML/AI, Android development, etc. Some of these roles were intern+FTE while the rest where FTE only.
Life after shifting to the Kota campus is not like how it used to be in MNIT. The name of our fest is 'Flair Fiesta'. Usually conducted in February or March. The library is small at this point but course books are available in abundance. Football and cricket grounds are being constructed newly, all other sports are also played. Every year college team is selected for each sport and the contingent is sent to the INTER IT SPORTS MEET, MST, BOSM, and other sports events. The hostels are newly built. They are well-maintained and cool. But they do not come with ACs. Food quality is decent. Not very good though. It's better to stay in hostels since the college is located in an industrial area 10km away from town. No Pgs or room available outside right now. Though the hostel is abundant and affordable too.
I am not into placement and job opportunities by my course I am preparing for a government exam hence I need a degree for that On the other hand as it is a government college There are high chances of placements with good packages
Its an 100% placement college with internships opportunities at 7th semester The college gives details mock questions whick can be asked during interviews sessions. The college even have great company opportunities
I heard that btech is no one here for academics and placements for women so its worth it. There are lots of sports opportunities wherever you want you can achieve like horse riding squash etc. theres aviation as well for the girls to fly and achieve their dreams
Yes, students had gotten placements via college in banking and private companies because after completing graduation i also got an opportunity through college but due to some circumstances, i hadn’t got that chance.
You just have to be a student of last year for applying in internship programs and placements. You have to master any skill and then you can get placement. Many small companies helds campaigns in the university and appoint students for job. The average package is around 20-30 per annum. The highest is around 40 to 50 lakh and lowest is around 10 to 20 lakh per annum. 60% of students gets placement in companies . My plans after getting the degree are to master a skill and then apply for a job in a well known company.
our course first batch is still not gradutaed so there is no info about placements but there is such help in internship. they also told that they will give placment asiistance from their side , lets see
The internship experience is provided by college . Many recruiters came for recruitments every year in all the streams. companies like HUL and FMCG groups take their fresh employees and provide experience of salary basis.
I really don't like placement of jecrc bcoz I don't see mt senior going to a great company out campus they are achieving good but in our campus we don't really get into good company they should have increased the number of companies in our college
Campus recruitment training is provided to all course students and it depends on the student whether they want to opt for it or not. After CRT, different companies come to the campus for their recruitment drive.
There is no campus placement here. Students who passed out from here some are finding jobs, some had their good family business and just wanted to get a degree and some started their own startup. College don't provide you any future security.
As every engineering college we get high placements in circuital branches but for non circuitals senior advice to study a particular language , DSA and all to get placements which is somewhere right because chances of circuital branch jobs are high.
