Remarks :

I live in Hyderabad, so the proximity was critical in finalizing this choice for my MBA program. IBS also has a good NIRF ranking and a vast placements network for both their internships and final placements. I was skeptical about the reviews being so mixed but getting to form my own opinion throughout the orientation week and connecting with alumni personally was helpful, and IBA genuinely has a good course structure and delivery. The professors I got for my first semester were all very competent and the timely completion of all processes and allotment of material etc, the comprehensive and well-functioning student portal, good hostel etc were all great benefits. The admission process included submitting our entrance test scores and attending a GD and PI the same day after the announcement of our slots via email and the admissions portal. A sales rep assisted me throughout the process and could comfortably get all of my queries solved up until the day of my reporting to the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum and Academics: IBS regularly consults all placement partners and alters their curriculum accordingly, after which the changes are communicated to the students and delivered effectively in classes. It's comprehensive and the course delivery is suited to the needs of all their students with professors making sure everyone stays on the same page despite varying academic backgrounds. A comprehensive course handout is delivered first, and a case booklet and textbooks are given at the beginning of the semester. Faculties: The faculties regularly direct and advise students on progressing to understand the course contents better and perform better. Exams: IBS follows continuous evaluation according to UGC guidelines and conducts three non-class participation tests and grade class participation alongside one final end-semester exam. Extra study costs: Not very high but definitely necessary to purchase items that every student is expected to have.

Internships Opportunities :

Roles are offered by recognized corporates and partners and feature roles with and without stipends. The internship evaluation and report check are all thorough throughout and quite well executed by both students and mentors.

Placement Experience :

The campus placements are regular and the placement policy is a bit rigid and does not allow the students to sit for a second company if they have already received an offer letter which might leave some at a disadvantage. Well-renowned companies visit for placements and hire for good job profiles. Considering a huge batch size, (around 1200 - 1500) 95-99% of placements are achieved. The students who do not receive placements are usually rejected in the HR rounds reinforcing the confidence in the curriculum and highlighting an issue with a match of company culture and attitudes, etc.

Campus Life :

Clubs are the most integral part of IBS student life and expose the students to a variety of opportunities that allow them to perform, contribute, and collaborate to get more industry connections, etc. The library is air-conditioned and equipped with a vast repository of books, journals, articles, and other publications. Also, it features all the major newspapers that students and faculty need to keep up with. The classrooms are also equipped with all necessities for the students. The campus has good sports facilities that are frequently used by all students and said facilities are well-constructed and well-maintained. The hostels and the mess are above average with respect to general hostel conditions and mess food available in Indian campuses. Mess 2 is better than Mess 1 on campus and the canteen in the QRS hostel block is better as compared to the rest.

Where learning meets industry

Placement Experience :

One good thing is that placements aren't treated as something that only matters in the final year. From the early semesters we are encouraged to build projects, improve our coding skills, and create a strong resume. That gives us enough time to prepare instead of rushing later. The college also shares internship opportunities and guides students through the application process. There are resume reviews, mock interviews, and career sessions that help us understand what companies expect. I feel the support is there throughout the journey, the more effort you put in, the more you can benefit from these opportunities.

A satisfying learning journey

Placement Experience :

Best part is the college doesn't wait until the final year to talk about careers. We get opportunities to work on projects, improve our coding, build resumes, and attend interview preparation sessions from the early semesters. Internship opportunities are shared regularly and the college guides students through the application process. This has helped me gain practical experience and understand what companies expect.

Learning, growth and great memories

Placement Experience :

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Reasons I chose NIAT

Placement Experience :

Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

College life beyond classroom

Placement Experience :

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

A great place to meet like minded people

Course Curriculum Overview :

One important thing I like about the course is that it isn't only about reading books and writing exams. We get to practice what we learn through coding, assignments, and small projects, which makes the subject easier to understand. The syllabus also covers topics that are useful for todays tech industry. The faculty is friendly and easy to talk to. They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.

What it's really like studing at NIAT

Placement Experience :

Since our batch hasn't reached final placements yet, I can't talk about placement results. But the college has already started preparing us through coding pratice, resume building sessions, mock interviews, and career guidance. Internship opportunities are shared regularly, and students are encouraged to apply from the early semesters itself. I like that the focus in on building our skills first instead of waiting until the final year. I feel this preparation will really help us when placement season begins.

My experience at NIAT

Placement Experience :

NIAT is a relatively new institute the first batch hasn't graduated yet, so there isn't any official placement record available. However the college has done a good job of preparing students through practical learning, coding and real world projects. Many students have already secured internships from the first year itself which gives them valuable industry experience. Along with technical skills the college also provides guidance for resume building and interviews, making students feel more confident about future placement opportunities.

A Complete Review of JNTUH: Opportunities and Campus Life

Placement Experience :

Eligibility is that we must maintain atleast 60-70% aggregate overall without any active backlogs. Recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, AWS etc. Total no. of offers made: All branches combined get 700-1100+ offers. Highest package is 52 lpa offered by AWS, and average package is about 6 lpa. About 60% students get placements. After getting my degree, I intend to get a good job in campus placements in companies like AWS, and go towards VLSI field
