I've searched alot on the internet, the reviews seems very good there, it was 1st law college in Bangalore, Karnataka, established in 1963. It has various alumini who have been the chief justice of India and Karnataka High court. To get addmission I wrote their entrance test and gone through a personal interview.
I chose this course firstly because I come from a law background secondly I wanted to do judiciary and take this family thing one more step ahead. The teachers in the college are well educated and use modern tools to teach in college. There are internal written exams nd them sem end exam. The difficulty level is medium but the university is very much strict for checking. But now the college is autonomous so the new comers need not to worry about that. The fee was really affordable in comparison to other colleges in Bangalore for 5 year course. But now as the college is autonomous they have increased the fee a bit.
From college side I've not been able to get internship, I have to search and get internships on my own. The college needs 20 week of internship in total to get qualified for the degree, which will also help to get the placements
For placement the students need to keep a zero backlog report, then they have to go through 4 mock interview from which they should pass in 2 atleast. Attandance should be maintained. Other factors like discipline and behaviour is noticed.
Usually life in college is busy and slow as I've seen. Not much interesting happens. Talking about library is sufficient and other amenities are also good. The field of sports requires little bit progress. There are many clubs but there's monopoly also.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.
I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities
The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
