- Campus life is very very good be it be the fests, competition, or just be strolling through the campus.
- Infrastructure of NIT-C is also very good considering it is an engineering college it very very large is in acres of land and we have different space for football, basketball, cricket, volleyball etc.
Dislikes
- Faculty is something i did'nt like about NIT-C because they maybe having issues among these faculties and we students will be in middle of these.
- NIT-C is actually not in the main part of the city. So it was difficult for us travel about 1 hour for railway station, and also kozhikode beach.
Remarks :
I choose NIT-C because of its brand value. And also I wanted to stay in Calicut from when I was 18 because of the loveable nature of the residents there. We had 2 rounds for the selection process. The first round was extempore where they gave you a topic and we needed to speak about that for 2 minutes. And then we will be having interviews where we have like 3-panel members. The questions were basic like self-intro, why MBA, strengths and weaknesses, and they also asked about our under graduation.. like basic topics. And for btech also some basic topics. And then there was a question on which specialization am I planning to take and why. And also there were questions about the finance minister and all. Just need to prepare for basic questions and the key is confidence.. some of the panel members will make it a stressful interview so be prepared for everything there won't be many expressions in some of them and there is a chance we will lose confidence.. but don't!!
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course for my career growth and also so that I can gain some communication skills.. talking about faculties, as it is a university everything is done by faculties, including final exam paper valuation. So if you are the teacher's pet you will be the one with the highest marks(only in the case of 1 or 2 faculties). The faculties are more than qualified as everyone has their PhD and some of the faculties do teach very efficiently but most of them don't.. also stress for this course is 0 to none compared to other MBA programs in other colleges. In one semester there was a midterm exam and also final exams. The difficulty level was easy for these exams. Fees is different for every sem, but not that much of a difference only up to 3k. There was a hike in fees for our juniors. Talking about scholarships there is NSP scholarship where we are supposed to get a full refund...but we didn't get it because of some issue with the government or something but our seniors dod get about 70k each year.
Internships Opportunities :
We were required to do an 8-week internship before our 3rd semester.. internship opportunities were almost none from our college.. only some students got an internship opportunity which was for Daimler Truck Company in Bangalore. And they had a stipend of 35000 Rs per month. And talking about projects we had a BRP ( Business Research Project) in our 3rd and 4th semesters and 3 presentations were there.
Placement Experience :
Our batch placements were not that good because of the recession but still more than half of us were placed. Eligibility criteria are that we need to pass all the subjects till that date and some of the companies had a minimum CGPA required which was 7. The recruiters include Reliance, Deloitte, federal bank, south Indian Bank, Sutherland, and IDBI Bank, and the highest package was 15Lavk from K 12. More than half of the students were placed.
Campus Life :
The fest is amazing in NIT-C. I mean it is one of the famous fests in south india be it a technical fest (Tathva) or a Cultural fest(Ragam). Tathva is conducted during the summer semester (odd semesters like 1 & 3) and Ragam during Winter semester ( 2&4 semesters ). And then there is the management fest which is conducted along with tathva during our course. There are a lot of sports and extracurricular activities including football, cricket, handball, volleyball, basketball, kabaddi, etc, and also music clubs and a lot of other clubs. We were staying in a hostel and hostels are good compared to what I have heard about hostels. The food was also pretty good and there were different menus for different days and taste was also good.. for the ladies' hostel we had 4 messes and we could choose whichever mess we liked.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
