- Infrastructure is good. Newly made academic block, hostels and canteen.
- Seniors are really helpful. Club activities here also help in all round development of students.
Dislikes
- The faculty isn't good. They aren't much student friendly.
- Campus life is nothing due to lack of amenities and its far away reach from the city.
Remarks :
This is a PPP model-based college. It's placement stats and coding culture are better than the other colleges at the same rank. The admission process is through JOSAA and CSAB counselling. IIIT Kota has a good coding culture. A good and helpful network of seniors makes the student life here easy. While it has its permanent campus now, it's still in its construction phase. Thus, facilities like a library, gym, and sports ground are missing. To enrol here, one must clear JEE Mains and select the college in JOSAA or CSAB counselling. After clearing JEE MAINS, you should have an All-India Rank of around 22-28k (general category).
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering as it is the leading and demanding branch in today's corporate world. The faculty here is experienced but mostly are assistant professors. Recruitments for faculty is going on. The teaching method followed here is average and ppt based. Mostly, we have to refer to YouTube videos only. There are 8 semesters. Each semester has 2 exams- mid-term and end-term exams. They have quite a hard level of difficulty. Additionally, there are lab exams, assignments and projects. The fee structure is high and education is costly but that's the case with all the IIITs as they on PPP PPP-based model. Scholarships are there for different states and based on category. We need to keep searching for them regularly. The course curriculum is hard. Academics are more focused, so we get less free time to do other things. Faculties are not so friendly and have a strict mode. One needs to know how to deal with them properly.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't opted for any internship yet. People have to look by themselves for internship opportunities. You can be a data analyst, software engineer, frontend developer, backend developer, or SDE intern. You need to have a good tech stack, a nice resume and profiles with some valuable projects to it.
Placement Experience :
You can take placement after the 6th semester. companies like Google, amazon, coinbase, and Flipkart have visited here. Mostly students have to focus on off-campus placements. The highest package is 81 lakhs and the average is 18.7 lakhs. 81% of students have been placed. After getting my degree, I intend to work at a company for a few years. Maybe after that, I'll think of doing a master's.
Campus Life :
There isn't much campus life as the campus lacks many things. It is still in the construction phase. There aren't many students, just 1200-1500 in the whole campus. But there are many clubs and all of them are highly active and growing rapidly. The infrastructure is very good. Hostels are newly made so they are good but they seem to be weak. There are two fests- Technical Fest and Cultural Fest. They are conducted in March and October, respectively. Classrooms are air-conditioned. The library is not very lavish. It has few books but no place to sit and study there. It's very small. Mess food is good and hygienic. The menu is decided by the students themselves. There is one girls' hostel and one boys' hostel. Freshers get double sharing rooms (girls) and triple sharing rooms (boys). Accommodation problems are going on in the boy's hostel. You can rent PG or rooms in Ranpur, Kota (nearby). There isn't much to stroll outside the campus. It's located 10km far from the main city.

I heard that btech is no one here for academics and placements for women so its worth it. There are lots of sports opportunities wherever you want you can achieve like horse riding squash etc. theres aviation as well for the girls to fly and achieve their dreams

Yes, students had gotten placements via college in banking and private companies because after completing graduation i also got an opportunity through college but due to some circumstances, i hadn’t got that chance.

You just have to be a student of last year for applying in internship programs and placements. You have to master any skill and then you can get placement. Many small companies helds campaigns in the university and appoint students for job. The average package is around 20-30 per annum. The highest is around 40 to 50 lakh and lowest is around 10 to 20 lakh per annum. 60% of students gets placement in companies . My plans after getting the degree are to master a skill and then apply for a job in a well known company.

I really don't like placement of jecrc bcoz I don't see mt senior going to a great company out campus they are achieving good but in our campus we don't really get into good company they should have increased the number of companies in our college

Campus recruitment training is provided to all course students and it depends on the student whether they want to opt for it or not. After CRT, different companies come to the campus for their recruitment drive.

There is no campus placement here. Students who passed out from here some are finding jobs, some had their good family business and just wanted to get a degree and some started their own startup. College don't provide you any future security.

As every engineering college we get high placements in circuital branches but for non circuitals senior advice to study a particular language , DSA and all to get placements which is somewhere right because chances of circuital branch jobs are high.
