My opinions on NITP
Likes
- Students are talented, sharp minded and hardworking. Interacting with them and solving problems with them is really nice.
- Having a small campus , it is easier to move anywhere .
Dislikes
- Lack of proper infrastructure management like fans not working in classrooms .
- Not so spacoius and classrooms are smaller .
Remarks :
JEE main examination is the only gateway to this college. To just get admission if one is a general category male candidate, he has to get a minimum of 94 percentile in this exam, to get CSE branch he must score more than 98 percentile. I prepared by self-study only. The college campus is short, but all the facilities are available. Perhaps it will shift to the Bihta campus soon.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This course is the most interesting for me , because I like programming since class 11. Also, it has a great potential to impact and transform other fields of engineering. So, I chose it. Most professors have a doctorate from IITs and NITs. They generally teach using slides but also use marker board sometimes. Term exams are conducted as per the academic calendar. Questions are mostly easy to medium and are based on taught topics. Sometimes they may get on the harder side as well. It depends on the respective professor. Fees are increased generally over a gap of 3,4 years. But mess fees depend on the contract, but does not vary a lot. Scholarship is provided as per annual income viz., 1/3 concession for annual parental income less than 5 lakh but more than 1 lakh, full concession for those having less than 1 lakh, and no concession for those with 5 lakh. SC/ST does not have to pay tuition fees.
Internships Opportunities :
I have got internship in LearnFlu Edutech (2 months summer internship) with a stipend of 26k/month. I am yet to visit. It will begin in the later part of June 2024. It is related to sales and my role would be Business Development Executive.
Placement Experience :
One has to have no active backlogs and a given CGPA(which varies from company to company) to be eligible to sit for placements. Sometimes companies allow students branch-wise. CSE has the highest average package of around 10LPA CTC. Most of the students of this branch get placed. Around 70 % of students get placed, and the average is around 7LPA. Amazon, oracle, PhonePay, OYO, ICICI, PWC, Tata Elxi, tata steel, L&T, etc. visit for hiring.
Campus Life :
The annual technical and cultural fest is organized every year in Dec-Jan, named Corona and Melange. Inter-branch cultural competition eccentric also takes place in sept-oct. Most books related to core subjects are available in the central library, with daily newspapers and journals. Intramural sports and athletic meet takes place every year. clubs like backslash,vista, think India, robotics, nations, GDSC, web, and coding clubs are active. The hostel is quite moderate, it has wifi and ethernet facility in all the rooms, rooms are 2 seaters, food quality is moderate, one has to use coupons for extra special items like milk, sweets, non-veg, etc.

Placement Experience :
Placements for Mechatronics and Automation are average. Mostly service based and few automation or manufacturing companies visit the campus. Eligibility for placements is usually 60% aggregate with no backlogs. Some recruiters offer roles like graduate trainee, automation trainee and quality roles. Core branch offers are limited. Highest and average package is moderate and depends on company and role. Around 80% students get placed through campus. After completing my degree, I plan to improve my skills, do certifications and try for off-campus jobs in core automation field or go for higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview :
faculty elected through Bihar government exam. their teacher method is really poor. one mid term exam including of attendance mark and project marks and one external exam 70 marks.exam level is not much difficult.

There are placement strike 99% so I will admission this college for build up my career there are placement are highest in bihar. There are placement are very easy process. Placements are different companies like wipro infosis tcs icici bank etc.

In BCA department placement are very good for students . Many companies like TCS , mahindra , wipro , and many local companies come in our campus for placement cell for students . Average package is around 4 lacs and maximum package is around 10 lacs in BCA department.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is quite outdated. 75% attendance is mandatory to give exams. Faculties are overall good and supportive in ECE branch. Every faculty is well qualified,most of them are phd degree holders or pursuing PhD from a reputed institute like IIT,NITs. End semester Exams occur every 5-6 months.And mid term is held between the semesters. ( One mid term each semester).Exams are quite difficult as it is not an autonomous University.End semester copy checking is not done properly. Improper markings are given to few students.

The placement of collage is good as compare to other private collage in Bihar. The year student will appear for placement and sit. So many recruiter are visited our collage like TCS, Wipro , Accenture , Bajaj , Tech Mahindra , and Americana. Near about 500 offer and students get multiple jobs whose percentage is 30. The highest package is 11 lakh as Associate engineer in Americana. The average is 3.6 lakh for data analyst. Near about 80 student get placed in campus of our collage. I want continue my study and complete my master from NIT.
