I spoke to the students at the college who told me good and bad things, like academically wise this college is perfect for you, but the bad aspects that were told are that there are no fest or extracurricular activities like there are at other colleges, the patient outflow is really good so you’ll get to learn a lot from the clinical postings, if you’re academically oriented this college is for you. There were no group discussions or interviews or written tests for admission, the admission was done through KEA, and there are a total of four rounds, depending on your rank and marks in NEET, the admission is done
I chose this course because I was interested, the faculty at this college is really good, the teaching methods are just like any other college, the term exams are taken very seriously, we have PTM meetings after the first internal exam, the difficulty level is same as final RGUHS exams, there are no fees hike m, it’s the same fees as told through KEA during the admission, there is something called miscellaneous fee at the beginning of the first year though which is around 1,00,000
They provide you with a compulsory internship after the 4-year course, the internship is for 1 year. The stipend is around 10k per month, and the work for interns is mostly seeing cases and completing case sheets
You’ll have to look for jobs outside or they provide you with jobs in my college you can apply to be a tutor, or you can choose to continue working at the hospital if you do not want to pursue an MS or MD
If you have good friends your college life will be amazing, there are no fests as I said, but you can hang out with your friends and make your college life memorable. There are sports activities but they are not affiliated with the college. You can participate in other college events but attendance will not be given for it. There are no clubs for extracurricular structures. They do host educational events like quizzes which could be a boost for your CV If you’re planning to write USMLE, PLAB etc In a day scholar so I don’t know much about hostel life but the hostelites have told me that they are very strict and they have a curfew time which is around 7 for girls and 8 for boys, they have a strict dress code policy as well like no shorts allowed in the corridor etc, the food isn’t great, it’s the same vendors as the canteen, the price to stay at the hostel is also pretty expensive which is around 2,00,000
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.
I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities
The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
