Our college is autonomous, which makes it stand out. We all know that colleges affiliated with the University of Calicut face delays in exams and results. This can be solved by joining an autonomous college. Admission was based on the index mark which is our 12th mark except for English. And bonuses are also added.
I was always interested in mathematics as I hate to study by heart. But BSc level mathematics also has that. Anyways, faculties are good and some of them have PhDs. Exams are conducted on time and they are moderate level.
We have summer internship programs to attend which we do from Kerala school of Mathematics, Calicut. And I also attended an internship program at NIT Puducherry. We do have to do a project during our sixth semester.
We have a placement cell and they conduct job mela consistently. I don’t have much knowledge about that since I haven’t attended any of them. But I heard that they are good and you will always have that exposure to say that you are from Farook college.
We all know that the library at Farook College is Kerala’s biggest. So there is nothing more to talk about the library. I joined NSS which is also a good experience and also, I was a part of Strokes, the artist club, and there is a painting done by me on the library wall.
Not yet attempted for placements, but so far the placements in previous years where quite good. Lots of MNCs , core industries etc picks students from the campus. I think more than half of last year's passouts were placed in campus drives.
Placement and job opportunities were higher and after the completion of course we can get job at Malabar cancer itself and the placement were done by campus interview and the student can participate and get the job
There are currently no placement cell in this college which is pretty disappointing for a college as old as 150 years that too with elite alumnis. There have been planning for proper placement cell but as of now there is nothing
The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
Also there is nothing there is no internship cell or nothing in our college and placements and job opportunity are bad . The firm's or companies are the local ones the from near our college there are big companies
2 or 3 job fairs will happen per year all major companies will arrive good placements recruitment is based in interview and other activities you involved in college a good grade Is required people's from outside the college can participate in this job fairs
