Likes
- The main thing about a college is it's campus life. As for me, I had the best 4 years of my life in this college. Friends who became like family and teachers who became friends.
- There is an open auditorium where we spent most of the time playing cricket. The main attraction is the six storey building which is the main block of our college.
Dislikes
- The main drawback is unavailablity of a Men's Hostel in the campus. Students coming from long distance have to find other options outside the college for food & accommodation.
- There is no proper playground or indoor turf inside the campus. Students adjust with the open auditorium for sports practice.
Remarks :
The admission process is based on the rank list of KEAM, I got admission under the SC category. The cutoff was around 45k. Moving on to the details of college, It is one of the best engineering colleges in Kerala considering the academics and placements. It is situated in the heart of Trivandrum city. The campus area is limited, there is no playground or indoor turf available. There are two hostels for girls but none for boys.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Information Technology is a course which has a lot of job opportunities these days, So I didn't have to think twice before choosing it. All the teachers are well-qualified and friendly. They are always available and happy to help students. After the pandemic situation, there was a huge mixup in the curriculum, 6 month semester was cut down to 3 months. Exams aren't that hard if you listen to the class enough. As I got admission under the SC category, I got many scholarships like Egrantz. There is no fee hike. The total cost to study is around 40k Rs.
Internships Opportunities :
As of now, I haven't opted for any internship. However, I am looking forward to joining Hue Solutions as a content creator at a stipend of 4k per month. Few start-ups registered under the college itself are providing internship opportunities for students who aren't placed to improve their skills.
Placement Experience :
Many companies approached us for campus placements. The average eligibility criteria are above 7 CGPA and no active backlogs. Companies like UST Global, Qburst, IBS Software, etc have approached us offering 3-10 LPA. The highest package offered was 10 LPA by Thoughtspot. The average package is around 6 LPA. Almost 50% of final-year students got placement. As I haven't been placed, I am looking for internship opportunities & off-campus placements.
Campus Life :
'Aagneya' one of the biggest tech fests in Kerala is conducted by our college. It is usually conducted in June. Even in the absence of a playground, our sports teams have performed well in the university games. There are various clubs like Music, Film, Dance, and Fashion clubs run by students. As I said there is no Men's Hostel in the college. From my friends, I have heard that the food at the ladies' hostel is below average. For SC/ST students Men's Hostel facility is provided by the government in Vellayambalam & Mannanthala

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty

Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
