I got admission via Jee Mains exam and the admission process was online because of COVID-19. Since it's an NIT, an institute of National importance there are much better opportunities here for students. The bad aspect is that it is located in a not so good area but that's not a big issue.
I got this course based on my rank and not my personal choice. The faculty is top-notch and highly qualified. There used to be 2 midterm exams and one end-semester exam each semester and the difficulty level was moderate. The fee was 77000 per semester for general but it was way much lesser for other categories( less than half of it)
I did a business analyst interns in my 6th sem but it was not on campus. The projects were based on dashboard creation and data handling. The skills required are Python, SQL, excel, tableau, Power BI etc.
Eligibility criteria for placements is based on cgpa and percentage of 10th and 12th class. Many companies visited our colleges like Zomato, Salesforce, Sprinklr, Microsoft, Bny Mellon, BPCL, Maruti Suzuki and much more. The placements have not been so good this year because of the recession. Only 50-60% are placed as of now but the drive is still on till June end. The alumni are also very supportive and they have started a separate page for job referrals for us. I have fortunately been placed and I have 2 offers as of now.
Girls hostel is pretty good because it's newly built. We have automated lights, smart fans, lan connections in the rooms. Hostels are neat and clean(not boys hostels course) Annual fest Confluence happens in mid-October every year and it's so fun to be a part of it. The library and book bank have thousands of books that we can issue. Sports and extracurricular activities are highly encouraged in this college. There are multiple cultural and technical clubs for that. There is a h sports ground on the campus. Food quality is average and the menu is decided by students only. Per semester fees for a hostel is around 25-30k
The Career Development Centre (CDC) plays an important role in preparing students for internships and future placements. The CDC conducts career guidance sessions, skill development workshops, resume-building activities, aptitude training, and interview preparation programs to improve students' employability. One initiative that I personally found beneficial was the Internship Fair organized by the university. It provided students with an opportunity to interact with different organizations and apply for summer internships, helping us gain practical industry exposure before entering the final placement season. Such initiatives allow students to build professional experience and develop workplace skills at an early stage.
The employability is very good and placements are also very good trainers and campus placement cell is highly supportive and companies are arrives regularly on every year basis and growth prospects are very good for the students
All the Management persons and all Faculties and Heads and Working persons , even the Housekeeping and our Seniors all are very cooperative and helping and have a humble and polite nature. And I really appreciate them all and very thankful to all of them.
KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.
Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development
Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.
Curriculum was very much reasonable and it was very much easy to understand it also had division of management studies and computer studies which made it very much easier for me to understand the faculty was amazing and very helpful
There is no certain eligibility criteria depends on the company and Many company comes all every year. Layi Blinkit, Zomato et cetera et cetera Also, there are separate departments for placement like CDC department
