Some factors that made me choose this college were -Reputation and ranking, good facilities, good staff, alumni network, good placement records, and no ground discussions held during the admission process but had 2 interviews while taking admission.
I aspired to work in a corporate job and chose to opt for this course, not every faculty member has graduated from the Indian institute of Management (IIM). faculty was overall good but they will not focus on every student because of high class strength and high batch size.
An internship that was offered to me was in financial management but we needed to sell insurance there. The internship opportunities that were provided to us were not good and we needed to search for some internships by ourselves then.
The placements & job opportunities are overall good. college provides workshops to improve resume, and interview preparation as well. And helps to build a good resume as well, and also provides you with paid certificate courses to improve your chances of getting employed. The average placement is about 6-7 lakh per annum but no good internship opportunities were provided. A few leading companies across various industries visited the college for recruitment drives highest placements were about 15 lakh per annum and about 90% of the batch got placed. my plan after getting a degree is to get a good and reputed job in the corporate world. Along with all this, I am also exploring LinkedIn and other job portal websites for jobs. The college provides job opportunities in the fields of operation management, financial management, and human resource management. though I am also considering getting a master's degree in other fields related to a post-graduate diploma in management to enhance my qualifications and job prospects.
The college has separate hostels with absolutely the worst services. Only a few fests were conducted in a session. they will avail 1 book to every 2 students, no good wifi is there, and there are no extracurricular activities on the campus. Some clubs and Social groups are just for the sake of the name, the food quality is absolutely bad and causes food poisoning as well.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
