- The campus environment. It is a very environmental friendly place with lush green trees.
- Campus Life is very vibrant. Fests, and events are conducted timely with students involvement.
Dislikes
- I think internship opportunities should be offered more for every branch students.
- Mess does not provide non vegetarian food for free.
Remarks :
IIT Gandhinagar has modern infrastructure which includes an international standard sports complex. It also provides an interdisciplinary approach to students and has good placement records. These are factors which made me choose this college. For admission as in undergraduate students should clear Jee Advanced (computer-based test) with a good rank. The cutoff of general rank is 1576 for CSE recently. For SC category 412. jee advance is difficult in level but we can crack it with proper practice and hard work .it has a low alumni network as it was established in 2008.

The faculty at IIT Gandhinagar is highly qualified, with many holding PhDs from top universities around the world. They are actively involved in their research and have published extensively. In Each semester two exams are conducted in the middle and end of the semester. The exam difficulty level is high. They are challenging application models. The tu fees are 100000 and 46580 for mess, hostel and other expenses per semester. I avail one external scholarship called Top Class Education for SC students under NSP.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I didn't opt for any internship as I am a second-year undergraduate. However, my seniors got good internship opportunities in companies like Atlassian, Barclays, divide, JW, and Amazon with the highest stipend of 1 Lakh per month.
Placement Experience :
Students in the 7th and 8th semesters of undergraduate without having any disciplinary actions are eligible for placement drive. In the IIT Gandhinagar placement drive 2024, computer science and engineering, 34 students among the 49 participating students were placed with an average package stand at INR 22 LPA, and a median package stood at INR 20 LPA. 69 per cent are placed in CSE. The top recruiting companies were Accenture, Amazon, Texas Instruments, Amul, Cognizant, Atlassian, Deloitte, Adobe, etc.
Campus Life :
IIT Gandhinagar permanent campus has three rough divisions i.e. Academic Block, Housing Block, and Student Hostel. Amalthea is the first annual technical summit organized by students in India hosted by IIT Gandhinagar in November and Blithchron is a two-day cultural festival hosted by IITGN in February. IITGN hosts an all-night intra-institute sports festival known as Hallabol. It has an international standard sports complex. The student housing consists of six hostel buildings that may house both undergraduate and graduate students. Each block has a capacity of roughly 200 students and has a common reading room and hostel library. The dining space includes a central café with outdoor seating, two separate mess halls, and a central dining facility for all students. Hostels are modern are equipped with carts, beds, tables, chairs, study lamps, and cupboards. Mess food is nutritious and tasty. The library is d and has more collections of books.

Average CGPA should be more than 8. Packages providing will be approx 1.5-3.0 LPA. The placement is about 90%. The packages provided are good and satisfactory. After completing this bachelor's degree I would go for masters degree.

No placements are there . The aveeagw placement in the market is about 1.5 to 4.5 lakhs .As compared to the different field the packages for the freshers are very low . But the faculties based on their refrences they give the opportunity.

I have selected this course because of placement opportunity. Faculties members are highly qualified and they usually teach using PPT, white board, computer, etc . There is one mid term exam and one gtu exam per semester.
