- The college is in outside area from City but the campus is best as compared to other colleges and faculties are more supportive and knowledgeable persons. Life at NMIT is best.
- The college provides the best laboratories with the knowledgeable instructors, and provides the high end processors pc for the students so that students doesn't lag in infrastructure and facilities.
Dislikes
- The college is outside the city so the transportation facilities not as good as other colleges but they provide college buses and BMTC bus facility is not available.
- The students who get seat in nmit through KCET face challenges regarding getting hostel they doesn't get hostel in campus but the college provide outside college which is bit expensive from incampus hostel.
Remarks :
I have chosen this college by seeing the oral placement rate, college infrastructure, campus location and many more. The college provides the best placement and it is on the list of top 10 colleges in Bangalore. The college has a specific placement cell for placements which helps students to get into good companies. Every year college celebrates the fest which involves cultural activities, competitions, and other programs. As compared to the other engineering colleges in Nitte the faculties are best. So these reasons made me choose this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Through KCET the fee is 96500 in 2023, but it changes yearly, if the individual belongs to the OBC SC ST category they can apply for scholarships and the college provides scholarship guidance for students.
Internships Opportunities :
As I am in the second sem I do have not to update for any internships but colleges provide internships in the best companies like Bosch, Infosys, collins aerospace, Sony and many more. Every year more than 200 companies visit the college for campus recruitment.
Placement Experience :
The college has a specific placement cell for placement guidance and lecturers, and trainers, are there for placement guidance. The placement rate at Nmit is about 95% and the average package is 7 lpa. The college provides internships and certificates and also helps in campus recruitment for students to get a job in the best multinational company.
Campus Life :
The college has several clubs like Horus which make solar electric cars, augmentin, rover making clubs etc.. and many more these clubs are certified by the college and these clubs compete in many NITs and IIT colleges competitions and also get prizes, the college provides the best training for this clubs and also they provide funds for making the project through the club. If you get admission from COMEDK you can get a hostel easily but through KCET counselling as it happens after COMEDK counselling getting a hostel is a little bit tougher but they will allot outside hostels and also they provide bus facilities for them.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
