There were no tests required for the entrance, the only requirement for applying for BCA in this college was to achieve above 60 percent in the 12th board examinations. Good points are Great teachers, a Good campus, Campus is big size, a Good cafeteria area, Good environment to study. Bad aspects are A lot of bad company of students, Can get easily distracted.
I chose this course because I was interested in computer science and technology to begin with. Most faculty members have either completed their master's or Ph.D. Term exams are approximately two months and the difficulty level is pretty moderate, depending on if you study or not. The cost to study is pretty reasonable and the hike is reasonable too. The college does provide scholarships to students who perform well in exams.
I haven't opted for any internships for now. Some projects I made were like this - websites about e-commerce shops, Small mobile applications, some simple websites, and an ERP trial system for a small business.
The eligibility criteria are no backlogs and at least above 60% in all semesters. Some of the most renowned companies that visited this campus are Google, Amazon, Microsoft, TCS, etc. One of the highest package was around 88.8 Lakhs by Attlansia, the average package is around 6-8 lakhs. Around 70-80% of students get placement. I plan to pursue MCA after this degree.
One of the most well-known fest of the Graphic era university is the GRAFEST. It is a really big and enjoyable fest and it is mostly conducted in May and June. A lot of books on different topics are involved in the library and journals too. A lot of sports and extracurricular activities are done on campus. A lot of sports like football, volleyball, basketball, cricket, etc. a lot of groups are there like the literature club, tech club, cultural club, etc.
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.
the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.
College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.
I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.
Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.
I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.
Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.
I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
There are good placement and job opportunities are there in off campus placement because there are many sites whivh provide job and internships like inteshala and there are many other platforms to find the job and internships
