The factor that made me choose this college was the distance between my home and college. Many friends of mine and my parent's friends recommended this college too as it was around 60km from my house and has good placements and a reputation. I had to write a CET exam to get admission but there was no test or interview from the college side.
I chose my course because I love machines and automobiles. I am also really interested in aerospace so this course was very suitable for me as it includes all 3 mentioned topics. Most of the faculties were either M. tech passed out or phd passed out. Problematic subjects were taught step by step with chalk on a blackboard whereas theory was done on computers using PPT. Terms exams were scheduled by the board(VTU)There were no fee hikes it is constant but faced a 2k fee hike in the college hostel. The cost of the study is quite affordable.
I did my internship at STTF. It was a free internship but it was a good learning with CAD/CAM and GD&T. I did my projects on Laser-induced graphene and its application. My mini project was on laser-induced graphene supercapacitor and my major project was Laser-induced graphene sensors.
eligibility criteria for placement are 6.75 cgpa with no active backlogs Elevation, sensor, Kirloskar, Infosys, TCS, Arvind pharmacy etc.. the number of offers were made around 1.5k the highest package was 30LPA and the average was around 3.5 lpa 70% of students are getting placed in the entire college I am going for higher education
The main fest of the college is DHAVANA every year held between March and May. Other than DHAVANA's annual day function is in jan-feb. The library had a variety of books and journals. Sports activities and their winners are awarded in Dhavana extra-curricular activities were also promoted in the college Many Instagram pages are run by students like biet_knockers, biet_world, team_biet etc. Hostel rooms were decent but the washrooms were not regularly cleaned food quality was not tolerable The registration process for a hostel is to visit the hostel office and ask for room availability the fee for hostel is 67000/ year for 3 sharing room
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
