- The campus life is very vibrant and there is a variety of people from all across India.Even though the college is far from the main city , many places are there nearby to just go and relax.
- The infrastructure is a beautiful one where one can just walk around to relax with comfortable seating and well lit rooms provided for classes making it a very bearable experience.
Dislikes
- I absolutely despise how far it is from the main city with transport expenses shooting up to extremely high amounts and missing out on the main fun activities.
- The college has a massive intake of way too many people which makes daily activities like waiting for food or gymming extremely patience testing , and also increases the competition for placements.
Remarks :
The factors that made me choose this college are primarily because of wanting a change in location and good reviews regarding how it's beneficial to those who want to enter marketing or finance In the corporate world. The admission process is quite simple but interviews are competitive so be knowledgeable in your fields and try not to add more than what is necessary. The good thing about this college is the faculty and infrastructure but it is instantly negated by how far it is from the main city, where all the fun is.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this curriculum simply because it fell into my career path of marketing in the corporate world. The faculty is highly qualified in their respective fields. Exams haven't been given to me yet so can't comment but the studies go at a fast pace with important subjects being covered so need to keep up with it.
Internships Opportunities :
I have only opted for one internship as of now because, internship offers don't come in plenty in the first semester for any fresher. The internship looks promising and offers up to a stipend of 10 thousand rupees based on performance and it is from a credible source. As mentioned above many of the heavyweight companies offer internships I have applied for an internship in this company known as Learnex
Placement Experience :
The placements and job opportunities keep increasing every year and the highest it has gone up to is 58 lpa internationally and 24 lpa domestically. At least 90% of the students get placed and many heavy-weight companies come to provide job opportunities such as Deloitte, Wipro, Infosys, etc. My plans after getting the degree is securing one of these multinational corporate giants.
Campus Life :
The campus and social life are highly on the positive side with everyday being a hub of hustle and bustle. There is no lack of clubs with about 27 clubs available, ranging from curricular-based clubs to extra-curricular-based clubs such as sports, gaming, etc. Books, journals, stationery products, etc. Everything is available at convenience. As with any hostel, the hostel food is bland and repetitive but it's healthy, to say the least. The hostels are divided into attached and common bathroom based on your fee payment, but hostels are very well maintained with room size being sufficient for one person.

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Reasons I chose NIAT
Placement Experience :
Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.
College life beyond classroom

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.

One important thing I like about the course is that it isn't only about reading books and writing exams. We get to practice what we learn through coding, assignments, and small projects, which makes the subject easier to understand. The syllabus also covers topics that are useful for todays tech industry. The faculty is friendly and easy to talk to. They explain concepts in a simple way, clear doubts without any hesitation, and we are already ready to help if someone is struggling.

My experience at NIAT
Placement Experience :
NIAT is a relatively new institute the first batch hasn't graduated yet, so there isn't any official placement record available. However the college has done a good job of preparing students through practical learning, coding and real world projects. Many students have already secured internships from the first year itself which gives them valuable industry experience. Along with technical skills the college also provides guidance for resume building and interviews, making students feel more confident about future placement opportunities.

Eligibility is that we must maintain atleast 60-70% aggregate overall without any active backlogs. Recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, AWS etc. Total no. of offers made: All branches combined get 700-1100+ offers. Highest package is 52 lpa offered by AWS, and average package is about 6 lpa. About 60% students get placements. After getting my degree, I intend to get a good job in campus placements in companies like AWS, and go towards VLSI field
